im new here. i just remembered that i have to pass an emission test to allow my car back on the road. im not sure if this is the right section for question. dont flame me and please help me out.

i have skyline 1991 gts-t, straight pipe all the way 4'' by greedy and all. the car is tuned done. tuned and all. turbo-ed from the neo-R34.
i need to find a way to bypass the emission test. if anyone could tell me help me out.

thank you in advance.

I'd say... de-tune, lower boost, install a cat and original exhaust, go try I bet it will pass.

However in theorie the leaner you run it the higher the NoX should go.

There is no way you will pass.. And since when does QC do emission tests? Please properly inform yourself and make sure it is an emission test... If not..Before going crazy ripping apart your car. Asign yourself an appointment on the east end of montreal, drive there and cancel, at the last second. Watch who comes outside for a smoke, and offer him a light, be open, and strike up a conversation. (dont approch some 16 year old peon, I trust your intelligent enough to approach a member of staff that looks like he has authority) Offer $300.. he may eventually settle at $500, tops $500, do not pay more than that! It is quite a bit of coin... but the car you love will get its little sticker on the windsheild saying it passed, and drive right out of there, and avoid yourself and further problems.
I do not condone this type of behavior, or need to do so.. Just shareing information. I know of a few that have done so.. The last was to pass a winter beater, w/ Leaking head gasket, hole in exhaust line, cracked winsheild, shot suspension, and all season tires... all of the preceading will fail, but he passed. (cost him $400) Instead of...??
In conclusion, there are soooooo many factors and checks to pass a legit inspection, you could rebuild your entire car and still fail, one small point in the end.. and have to flat bed it home.

You don't need to flat bed it. The SAAQ can give 3 24hrs permissions to get your car inspected. You can drive to and back.

Shouldn't take more then 2 tries if you go at the same spot and fix what they want.
