I JUMPED!! Already have 3 cars so decided to push my brother to get it and sell his MK2 coupe...
Even though my little brother was not 100% sold on this when we went to see it, the car is extremely clean & seems to be very well maintained. If I can manage to get a decent price for my Saab, I will be all over this! I can only hope it's still for sale by the time the Saab goes to a new home!
The only things that concerned me were the high millage & the fact that it is a VGA brought in from the US. It's said lightly accidented but the current owner was not able to tell us if it had been hit in the front, side, back...he couldn't tell us if the clutch had ever been replaced or if the timing chains or guides had been worked on....we basically had to trust that it was in good running order by the look & feel of the car. Little to no maintenance records were kept.
I still think it's a great buy & the price is definitely right but only time will tell if she'll be mine some day soon!
