Salut, jetta vr6 12v 2001 ayant la timing chain a changer bientot. J'aimerais savoir combien ca coute svp merci

it will be much cheaper if you take it to a place that has done it before. the major cost is labour. parts are about $250-300 but you have to remove the intake, side cover, transmission etc...

you don't understand. leave the tranny in place and remove motor.

way easier

No Offence but thats ridiculus, that alot more work for nothing....Remove the whole front end, remove fuel line, unplug the motor from the ecu..its easier with the motor in place and stuff in the way removed (airbox, Battery..ect)

remove little crap and tranny...half hour... pull out the motor just a little over an hour...

does having the engine out make it easier work on to go throught the extra head ache..IMO nope..

leave motor in..tranny out..nice little bench sit in the engine bay.. lol

I strongly suggset you call EuoKlass (St-jean-sur-richelieu) : Raphael has been a VW / Porsche / Audi mechanic's for over 20 years, and has just opened his own garage, at rates you wouldn't beleive!!! And the guy is meticulous, I HIGHLY recommend you call him
