supercharge my 3800 series II?

so im rolling in an impala 2002 i know ppl will say haha impala but the car has 106xxxkm's runs amazing. Im intersted in adding a supercharger from a grand prix gt 2002. Question is would it be worth it? I know im getting 40hp more only but will i feel a difference and what about the transmission will it wear out faster?
 
well do it if you know what your doing. you will have a faster car then a 3.8 that allready has a superchager ( because of your higher compression).

If you don't know how to do it one of my friend is an 3800 expert and will do it for you ( just PM me if you want mor info)

you have to change the head, injector, intake, etc... Also need a ECM tune. I probably have all the part except the SC.

For the tranny is not a HD.

I will try it, but i put a big tranny cooler and a good synthetic oil in first.

finally the guy with the grand prix wants to sell the car as whole. Still looking seen one in toronto for 150$ comes with the injectors and all the sensors
 
T'es aussi ben prendre le swap au complet et faire un refresh de la mecanique avant de dropper ca dans le trou.
Aussi fauque tu verifie si la tranny HD est en ordre. Y'ont tendances a sauter a cause que le 3800 SC ont trop de torque.

Les 4t65-HD pète pas à cause du torque si t'as pas droppé la poulie. C'est tout le temps les 4ième clutch qui lâche ... Seulement parce que c'est de la merde. Mais des fois elle dur toute la vie du char sans raison ...

Et oui, t'es mieux de swappé au complet le moteur. Sa prend 2h sortir le moteur de trou et 2h le remettre. Tout est bolt-on en autant que tu ramasse l'ordi, la transmission, les cardan et le moteur. Tandis qu'un top swap, tu fini pu. Le seul point positif qu'un top swap apporte que c'est que ton taux de compression est plus élevé et donc sa tire un peu plus.
