So why do all these awesome performance car owner don't promote there build? Too busy streetracing or bashing on the internet? Iam in no way affiliated with airsociety but they look like the only one proud to show there work. The only few post that most poeple like are heavily modded M3 from a tuning shop on the other side of the planet ...

Thank you for this.... Someone with common sense.

Love or it hate it, it's still a "plus" for Montreal. For those who are fans of "stance", it's putting Montreal on the map.

I can easily generalize and say that everyone who builds a track car is stupid, and a huge waste of money. Why would you modify a car to just be able to run sub-12 second sprints? Some that are even illegal on the street? Plus you're hurting the environment by using up so much gas on these barbaric 1/4 mile races.

That's not how I truly feel about drag races, but come on... It's easy to hate on something.

If you don't like it, just shut up and get out.

Anyways, when will I get to shoot the car? That way I can make a new thread about it, and make sure it's on MR's front page with

"LOCAL HERO" written all over.

Are you retarded, nobody gives a fuck about this car getting featured on any of your friends websites, nobody is jealous of it's so called fame, nobody would want to own or drive such a car. We, the haters, simply thinks this Mazda 3 is garbage, that's it that's all. Don't you ever dare assume I'm thinking something else than what I say, otherwise you are lying to yourself to cover your insecurities.

You obviously care enough to stop by and drop your 2cents by calling his car a piece of shit.. He who insults has obvious insecurities not he who praises. He who hates is a retard not he who admires, so suck my balls..

My point of view:

Car looks nuts, in a parking. We can all agree this is a show stopper. Cool wheels (cheap-ass tires, but whatever, he must not be hitting curves at 200mph with his setup I guess!), clean car, seems to be the first to have done it. Fine.

BUT

This does not deserves the followings tags, attributes, names or descriptive terms:

-hero
-perfect
-dream-car
-supercar
-well balanced

Neither does it, IMHO, deserve a cover page looking at a few other rides that have much more aesthetic/motor job done (such as Sparcosaul's murdered GLI).

I think sams car deserves all the attention it gets if not more considering the amount of work done to it. Thanks for the compliments but it's not a GLI and I don't have any engine work :p not yet

Good points, but I don't think I saw anyone else say that it was anything else but a "local hero." It's called a title, which is usually used to get attention. Which it did, and worked very well.

No one called it a super-car, well-balanced, or a dream car. Those who are fans of it are saying that it has "nice stance" with the work done to fit the wheels with an air suspension, and camber.

My BBS style-5 wheels on coils are cambered 4 degrees, and I still rub slightly. If I could bag it, it would save me some trouble. But that's just me who is a fan of "low."

I assume you did not have any engine work, I just talked about engine-modded cars in general. Still crave your ride.

I know, no one YET has called it perfect, well-balanced, etc...just making my point lulz. A title has to attract the attention, but it also should fit your content. See where I'm going? Yeah? Ok...won't make it any further then.

I agree with you though on one thing: if I had 5K to dump into a bag setup for my DD, I maybe would. MAYBE. But it would have to be quite a DD :p

I understand what you're saying, the original thread/feature which was posted explained why the OP called it "local hero." Because no one in Montreal has done it like this before, when there have already been a few in the US that have done it on VWs. People just took it way too personally; and IMO, people in Quebec (not being racist; anglos and francos alike) do have a tendency to take things personally when it's not needed.
