Swirl City - Honda Accord

This is my daily drive Accord, the car is 13 years old it has a little rust, a few dents, some irreparable paint damage and tons of rock chips threw the paint. So with that said this isn't a showroom finish detail but the paint needed some serious work so I did a quick 2-step correction to give the car some well deserved life.

The Process:

- Pressure rinse
- Tire APC
- Diablo Wheel gel
- Dawn foam bath
- Claybar
- M105 / Orange pad
- IPA wipedown
- M205 / White pad
- Dawn Foam bath
- 303 Aerospace on all trim
- Chemical Guys G6 Hypercoat on tires
- Chemical Guys Blacklight
- Bon Ami window cleaner

The pictures were taken after the car was cleaned and clayed just prior to the compound step

Thanks for looking

Nice job buddy! Looks like you went back in time and bought a new one! Needs a small drop though, 4x4 status! lol

Trust me Joey I hear it all the time lol, but no drop for this car, it's 100% stock and staying that way. Its very reliable and smooth and I use it for winter, my other car is for having fun ;)

Thanks for the comments guys!

Thanks Nico, I've been waiting a while to be able to do this I expected rain today 'showers' were foretasted so I postponed other cars, but it ended up being so nice I had to take advantage

Thanks filippe I'll take some pics as time goes on to test the durability of the LSP as well as try some others and see if soaps affect it differently like what we spoke about.

A little update 5 days after, you can see the water beading on the Blacklite, I haven't washed it yet and I'll continue to update as time goes on to see the durability of the Blacklite

29 Days Later, this is the result with rain.

I have also only managed to wash the car once during that period, I used CG glossworkz soap

The paint still feels very slick when clean, the Blacklight seems to be holding up better than I thought

Havent washed car since the last update because of a water ban at my house now that it has been lifted I'll be washing the car lets see if the sealant is still holding up
