I remember reading somewhere on here that people used a site where people would bid on logo creation and the price at the end would be incredibly cheap. I need to have a few logos made and was curious if anyone knew the website.

Yes I know I am being cheap but at this stage in my business, I cant help but be a penny pincher.
 
Well for a logo I used to charge about 1200$ but now with these designers competing for cash, I dropped my price, but I get the logos done in a day instead of a week. I also make them sign a contract which includes a paragraph saying that research of the logo is on them, I will not be held liable if they get sued.

seriously, for a couple hundred bucks I don't spend time on them.

Thats why I wont call anyone local and insult them asking to make me a logo for 150$ or wtvr. To someone overseas 150$ is a ton of money and will make them work decently hard VS here.

Yeah, I wouldn't take a job for 150$, if I did I would have probably been strapped for cash and justified it as beer moneyu or something :p If I took a 150$ job, I would have it out in an hour or two.
 
i have used 99design previously.

its ok for a logo but not good for a whole company image package

I used 99 designs and the guy who won ended up doing the rest of my requirements directly and much less expensive. PM me if you want his email address.. the guy will bend over backwards for you from a little fishing village in Indonesia!
 
a 150$ logo for a guy in indonesia is like 3000$ logo in america....

you get the same talent and the same number of hours...

their cost of livimg is much lower.
