WANTED BMW E46 Business CD player WITH MODE

I'm looking to "upgrade" the head unit (cassette) in my 99 323 to a cd player unit WITH MODE.

The reason for doing so is simple, IPod integration.

I know the harnesses aren't the same, I have a conversion harness on order.

If anyone has a cd player head unit in good condition (no scratches or dead led's on the screen) then let me know.

I'll be trying the scrap yards tomorrow
 
I have the OEM business radio CD but I have it at my garage and I cant remember if its with MODE or what that is

It was on a 2004 ZHP Coupe

You can always buy an adapter whih plugs into your non-mode oem e46 stereo and it simulates as if it had a 6 cd changer. Not only it has a ipod plug but it charges and u can control your ipod with any controls. I think its around 70-80$. Very easy to install, theres many guides!
 
I've been shopping around, and it seems like everyone leans towards the Dice Mediabridge. Now thats all nice and dandy, but at 250$ plus shipping (which they dont ship to Canada) and a docking station (i want the flush moun"Spec Dock" from Bav sound.)

I'm looking for the HU with MODE so i can run the dice mediabridge and still have the head unit for cd's. If i did the dice upgrade now, i would love the trunk mount cd changer and would be stuck wit ipod and cassette, lol.

And, i dont want to change to a aftermarket HU, because i love the oem look, so clean. If i would have to upgrade, it would be the M3 with navi, but converting to that, as it seems, is a monster all in itself.
 
Installations GTH, i came across that thread a little while ago, can't seem to get my paws on it again. I'm still looking. But you're right, i have seen that thread before.
