What to buy with 60k ?

Oubli les euro si tu veux pouvoir faire réparer ta voiture n'importe où...

I agree with this. Euro's like BMW are very good but not everybody knows how to fix it. Most of the time they require special tools to fix and in remote areas the mechanics more often than not, don't have them and even if they do they don't know how to fix them or they overcharge.

Stick to American cars or some of the Japanese brands. One thing I would do if I was you is look at the dealers that are close to the area where you work and than maybe look at some cars that are available after

Definitely, wouldn't by a recent car. 80's - 90's Lincoln Town Car with a 500CID. Tons of HP, and it's like driving a couch.

by Remote location I'm assuming that you have somewhat close (50 km range) a GM, Ford and Chrysler dealer......maybe Toyota so it would be something from these brands.

By performance you need straight line only or both straight line and decent cornering?

Taurus SHO and 300C AWD are the ones that come to mind right now given your criteria. You can get them fully loaded tax in with your budget but not sure the handling of these is good enough for what you want.

Straight line(mostly) and cornering.

Lexus IS F, Because it can be repaired pretty much everywhere IMO

for 4 seasons : RS4

For Summer : CLS63 AMG

60k id buy an aircooled Porsche 911

Something like this:
http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=1315261

And would bring it here https://plus.google.com/114265862566104693278/about?gl=ca&hl=en for repairs and maintenance? (we assume that you can';t do them yourself)
What would you do in the winter with it? (OP didn't mention this will be a summer only car so I'm supposing it's a 4seasons daily driver)

(I'm not saying OP lives in Natashquan but he said remote area so I'm imagining something like this)

Just get a 2013 Mustang Boss, Shelby 500, Z06, Viper. They can be fixed anywhere given your criteria.

Personally, I'd get a 911 Turbo, E92 with carbon fiber roof M3, CLS AMG... but It would most likely be this:

Nissan GT-R

I have a deposit on this car... to be honest, its really not clean body wise. It also drives very weird and makes weird noises when you break.Looks like a beaten up GTR. Im going to take my money back tomorrow so it will be available again on the market if you are interested.

Get a 20K car and use the 40K as a down payment on a house if you don't have one already. A car gets less exciting the longer you own it, most people own the same car for less than 6 years, a house is a decent long term investment that will sell for more down the road.

an aircooled porsche + jeep rubicon for rainy days, snowy days, way too hot days, pimpin days, etc..

be a man!

A 2nd gen CTS-V is less than $50k. For $60k go for a GT-R for sure! Just don't buy it in Canada.
