Does anybody know any good trails in the west? I think there are some good ones (long) in and bois ile bizard but its so big, what would be the best entrance?

tired of biking on asphalt and small trails.

just for cruising around, no jumps or insane mountain biking. i have an average mountain bike.

i have to find where this entrances are this is what i am looking for:

mkay so for your first video, that the entrance from l'aréna on rue des bruants, see the map for reference, there is also a trail that starts on de l'église second map. You start going down the bois de lile trail and it's going to be on your right before you enter the woods.

mkay now for where they enter at 1:50, that accessible from the bois de l'ile trail the acces is on the green trail (the one on the right of the map) a bit after you exit the red trail. It should be on your right!!! From there you'll have acces to a shit load of little trails

here's a map of le bois de l'île hope this helps http://ville.montreal.qc.ca/pls/portal/docs/page/parcs_fr/media/documents/Carte_ete_Bizard.pdf

That second video is the Woodland jumps... you don't want to go there with a XC bike, there's some trails stuff in the woods but not worth it... The first video I have no idea, maybe behind the soccer fields in Ile Bizard...

There will be dog shit.

RIGAUD. Serious man I love what they've done there. I have a XC bike, I suck at riding and can't jump for shit, so this place would suit you well. I'm not in the best shape so I walk up and ride down on green or blue trails. $10 for a day pass.

There are quite a few fun trails in ile perrot too for xc skiing. It's all flat though, but free and decent. Without someone who's been before though it's confusing to find and easy to get lost. #6 loop is my favorite here.

Hit me up if you ever want to ride, I'm always looking for someone to go with.

I used to bike in the ile bizard forest when I was younger and from what I remember it was fun! Then again angel woods trails were also fun haha

Any downhill mtb'ers ITT? I have a season pass but no friends to go with :(

Ya gotcha, my FS XC is a pain on it's own, but for $10 what can we expect right? What's Bromont now almost $40?

Oh I should mention too the place is DEAD. Other day I was there and there was an 'event' / race going on. Total of 6 competitors that I saw, and 2 actual races and it was done. In total I saw 9 people with bikes on the mountain on an event day...

well, i went today and did appr. 20km of biking. Really nice forest. Not as extreme as i wouldve expected but still. It more of a nice place to go biking with gf or something, the water the animals and all. it feels good to breath fresh air while biking instead of fumes of old cars.
