let's give it a try?

Hoping to get some proper cars coming with knowledgable owners.

Starting time: 6pm?
Spot: Hippodrome Parking (for this week)

idea: each week select between a handful of locations as to not get ti-counes to always show up at the same spot. This way, as long as you are MR member, you check in here to find where the spot is helping to sift out the idiots.
 
Because julep is closer people will stop at the julep because their is food also.

Yeah but people will be more tempted to go if there is something to do, like eating or drinking some julep juice. Dunno that my opinion.

i'm just trying to do something. Tossed an idea out there. may work, may not. I know people have been missing the old-school meets this city used to have where people came to talk and meet friends and not just to show off the cars and new lights they put on.
 
Realtalk: the only reason I got to car meets is to see people do stupidities/rev engines/burnouts

This^

I already meet up with friends to chill and what not. Car meets should have some sort of entertainment. I'm always entertained when someone tries to hoon.
 
why we cant do here ? Tim is just over here . harveys , wendys . its even better then julep.

What suxs about the tims parking lot , is that baton rouge subway etc are all there . Starting 6 to like 9 that parking lot is full !. Unless we could do it at the end where dumoulin was .

He's right about that. The meet itself could definitely work cause Julep Thursdays are done, it's just sad now lol.
 
here is another one : there is no more Future shop on this parking lot . Only bureau en gros . So the parking is almost Empty . Let try this . tim is not far at all . i think its best place for that .
