Honestly, I've never felt this way. But I haven't been to more than 2 julep meets this year, and I went after 9pm to meet up friends (in & out of the scene, like Pri said before).
Reason why I like the Euro crowd is because it never seemed like a competition. But the people I do see & talk to are about in their mid-20s or over.
Just the other night, a ti-coune in a CRX was revving his p-flow, tailing me, and passing me super fast, staring me down. 2 weeks later, he tried doing it again, and he got caught behind another car on the right lane. I slow down and "trap" him, roll my window down, and ask what the fuck he was doing. I have no idea why, but he was so mad. I asked him to pull over, and for no reason, he wanted to beat me up or something. I invited him to julep thursdays, and I'm like his mentor or something now.
Kids these days (as some always are) always want to "prove something." But I don't believe the majority are. It's just that those who do act like cunts are the ones who make the most noise, and will be the ones who stand out, making a bad name for everyone else. Some actually mod their cars for the love of it (and you can tell), and others, it's just to try to prove something, like they'be had a chip on their shoulder that no one provoked in the first place.
I really hope Tuesday aren't like that on a weekly basis.

Its funny how people get bashed in some threads for doing burnouts, engine reving, street racing and eventually causing expulsion from parking area's(JDM Meet), and then on this thread people get bashed for not doing stupidities, being responsible and because their car is too low. Whats it gonna be Mr? I couldn't care less...I mod my car how I want and how I like it. Yes it is too low to race, no it doesn't goooo pssssssshhhhhhh when i shift but I like it like that. Moral of the story : I have my mentality and I dont shit on yours.
I completely agreed though about the kids who think they are entittled to something or who think they are famous because of their car. Douchebags will douchybag no matter if they are stanced or have 700hp!

Ben d accord que le julep du mardi n est pu ce quil etait ,les duchebags nous ont envahit avec leur char pas rapport genre mazda ,acura ,jdm ,ils sont pas supposer avoir une autres journee pour eux?c est pu ce que c etait dans le temps ,meme Eurokracy etait un flop pour moi pcq il y avait au moin 100 char pas rapport la .*td*

Am I the only one that turns down my 90's techno, in order not to be ridiculed, because it is not dubstep?? 
I agree with 95% of the negative comments about the euro scene from this thread.
But instead of adding more to it, i would like to offer a solution to our problem.
A lot of these enthusiasts are shy, low self esteemed, socially awkward..etc...the list goes on. Thus being one of the reasons we see these separate groups inter hating on each other.
We dont all have to get along, because we all have our differences, but we should either organise a private meet, where all the "old schoolers" or the new schoolers that share the same mentality can socialize. Or we can invent a system that would allow such people to recognize each other at a Tuesday night for example. Wearing a white t-shirt for example..
Anyways...just throwing out ideas lol

Personnellement j'aime bien le look des autos basses avec des roues à 10 000$, mais c'est vrai que c'est trop souvent un moteur stock en plastique sous le capot. Les temps ont changé, pour aller vite t'as juste besoin de passer quelques minutes chez unitronic pour te faire re-flasher... Plus besoin de tout défaire ton 1.8 8V pour planer la tete, mettre un cam, carbus, etc... Donc plus besoin d'être "bon" pour être dans le scene. C'est peut-etre rendu un peu trop accessible, au point ou n'importe qui avec quelques dollars peut se payer un setup d'air, un chrome dip sur des BBS RS et ainsi avoir le droit de se hard-park de travers en prenant 2-3 places. Malgré cela, je vois encore plusieurs autos qui ont le traitement complet avec le moteur, la peinture, les roues et la suspension. J'ai vu beaucoup de qualité à Eurokracy cet année et aussi l'an dernier. Il faut aussi mentionner que ce n'est pas parce que quelqu'un porte un v-neck fluo et une palette plate et qu'il conduit une Mk5 stock sur des bags qu'il est automatiquement un douchebag (l'habit ne fait pas le moine haha).
Mais comme vous dites, le temps passe, les modes changent, les habitudent suivent. C'est inévitable et ça nous frappe toujours quand ça arrive.

Pete!!! Je te comprends à 100% et je croyais être le seul à penser ça. Le bon vieux temps des dubaholics, les soirers avec les Anthony, Kosta, Phil, Fernando, Jason, etc. J'ai que 25 ans, mais j'étais impliquer dans la scène depuis mes 15-16ans. Lets bring back the old Dubholics crew!!
