CALABOGIE lapping AUGUST 24th FRIDAY!!

It's a 2.5 hour drive. If you feel like leaving at 4:30am to make the 7am Check in / Sound Check; nobody will stop you. There are plenty of hotels in the area. I think rates are close to $100 / night.

^^pm me where you will be, Marco and I will be sharing a room

Will be trying my AIM solo laptimer :D thank you Perry performance:bigup:

Ok, I compiled all the entries last night- still space in the advanced group as well as the intermidiate.

My S4 will be ready with coilovers ( thanks to perry auto), racing brakes, MTM chipped, OZ ultraleggera 19'' with pirelli PZero Rosso!!!!! + weather is still OK!!!! fingers crossed. I'll come with Pierre and his GT3 RS.

Well that's a huge relief for me. Friday night I found tranny fluid all over the bottom of my car and a small puddle on the garage floor. Holy crap, I thought the worst and that my trans case was done and I would have to cancel going to CMP. I don't have the budget this year to get/find a replacement in time. Well, today I'm glad to find out that it was just the axle seal. It's now fixed and I'm back to smiling again. I really can't wait to get there. Hopefully no more surprises.

ZeroR,

CMP is a large and demanding track. Make sure you do a thourough bolt check on the car, flush/check fluids, check cooling, brakes, bleed brakes before. Check tire pressures and don't forget to rotate them during the day.

Bring if you can some basic tools, torque wrench, oil cans, brake fluid, cooling fluid (premixed will get you out of trouble), jerrycans for gas, sun screen, water, snacks. An oil filter, tie wraps, duct tape. The last thing you want is to end your day because of a .050¢ piece. And you have to come home also.

Just my suggestions. You are better off coming home saying you didn't need all that crap, than.... well you get the idea.

Enjoy.

Yup, most of that stuff is already packed and ready to go. This week I'm changing the oil, replacing front brake pads and bleeding brake fluid. That's how I discovered the trans fluid leak, doing the full inspection of the car. Thanks!

Proper car prep is a must for big track days.
doing it before you get there ensures a fun day.

As it stands, we still have some space.

Hi carl, I'm in, I'll pay you that monday at the track if you don't mind, cause I'm too busy. cheers

we still are accepting entrants, without penalty, if you want to run CMP long course, 7x30 minutes, we have the event for you.

15 ASE staff members will be there as well.

Not looking good for me so far. M3 is still misfiring, even with new coils, sparkplugs, injectors, fuel filter, alternator, ecu... Only things left; fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator and battery. Hope i can find a solution...

Don't forget spark plug wires. You didn't mention the spark plug wires, but maybe you changed those as well. Sometimes they look okay but they actually have a break internally or have a high resistance.
Good luck!
