Article: SportCompactCar, August 1992: Top 10 Compacts of the year

Can a Mercury Capri Xr2 really out handle a miata?

No compact car has produced so much excitement for the performance aftermarket than the geo storm LOL

Love this article thanks for posting. The list makes sense. You have to put your 1992 glasses on.

exactly

if we all go back in 92, id take a v6 mx3 before a civic

those were wayyyyy much more fun to drive than a civic

The NX2000 was stupid fast, loved driving my buddy's, surprised people with it over and over. Good times and laughs

V6 de 130HP, what the fuck?

mx-3 had the smallest and slowest V6 in the world if im not wrong

Smallest production V6 yes, slowest i dont think so, americans nailed that part in the 80's hehe

So true. Cant believe My MR2 didn't make it back then.lol. But hey, look at the prices ppl are selling classics like MR2's, 240's and Celica's now-a-days.. Its crazy. Crap like the geo metro, ford probe & dogde daytona, cant even be found on any roads.lol. Pure Junkers!! But I get where there coming from though. Those ares were too damn expensive back then for the average joe

I owned an MX-3 for around 7 years, it was a great car to drive around with and it was fun. I still think a clean MX-3 GS looks good today but they are getting harder and harder to find now a days, back in the mid 2000's I sware they were everywhere!

I had a 93 GS with a V6, I later swappedi n the 2.5L KLZE and that thing was pretty darn quick for the size of the car, enough power to have fun trust me.
