8$ x 40h x 52sem is 16640$
Salaire minimum = $9.90/heure
Donc environs 20,000$/an
8$ x 40h x 52sem is 16640$
^^ so, still enjoying the Cayman's ??
Salaire minimum = $9.90/heure
Donc environs 20,000$/an
Tu as droit au BS pendant 6 mois automatiquement.
Tu as droit a 6 mois supplémentaire SI:
Si tu n'as tjs pas d'emplois apres 1 an de BS:
j'Attend tas reponse.....
that no one qualifies for those tax credits because it's set impossibly low... actually i think it's set below the poverty line.. you can't legally work and receive that tax credit at all.
The thing most of you forget is that a large portion of us here grew up in the middle class. A working father, with a stay at home mother, raising 2-3 kids, and everything else that goes with that. Current day, that economic tier is basically non-existent. Now you have dual income families with a single child barely making ends meet simply because of the increasing cost of living and the desire to always provide more to your kids than you were awarded. The english private school I was fortunate enough to attend cost my father $7k a year. Today that same school is asking for $19k per year for a single student enrollment. Using the $130k salary example, I wouldn't be able to send one of my children to the same school I went to, much less two children. And that's just one fraction of the expenses we face today. So no, $130k isn't a rich person's salary by today's quebec standards.... sorry.
You got it wrong Envy!
I remember back in the days, when i was in school, we didnt have Iphone with a 70$/month plan, we didnt have a playstation 3 + xbox + Wii, all we add was a nintendo. Our vacation was Old orchard beach, not Mexico with an all include for 2 weeks. We were dress up in marche aux puces, and we were happy to wear fake Tommy hilfiger, Calvin Klein, Polo ralph lauren. When i was a kid i started to cut grass for my neiborhood at 12 to get some money. I used to work in strawberry field to get some money when i was young.
Today all i see is whining spoil kids. That spent their time whining about not having an iphone S4 like one of their classmates. Not having the lastest videogames, or not being cool enough because they dont have the latest adidas sneaker at 135$.
My mom bought me my shoes at yellow, and i didnt whine about it.
Today if with 130,000$ income you start whining about having difficulty to live, you are seriously dumb and forgot all the important things your parents told you....... One of them is Sacrifice.....
You see my parents were in the middle class, i did go to a private school, but i didnt go to subway/mcdonal at lunch in school everyday, instead i use to eat that goddam ham sandwich.
Why do you think people like you have difficulty to live with 100,000$, the answerd is betweeen your ears
Too many little rich spoil kids nowaday
You do realize that our parents paid less taxes and had less but better services then we have today. Yes, we have all turned into consumerists and all are guilty of it. Some spend more, some less, but we all spend. What has changed is the Quebec government taking away more & more of our income and our purchasing power is decreasing because we are overtaxed!!! Salaries no longer match, but government just keeps on taking...
The dumbest program in Quebec is parental leave & the $7 daycare. They claim this is for the benefit of family life, no it's not! It is desgined to get both parents back into the workforce ASAP so they can suck more taxes out of you. You are basically giving up your child to a daycare worker for 10-hours a day so that you and your spouse can go out and pay taxes to the government. If they trully cared about family life, they would cut this nonsense and cut your taxes by 25% and let the individual make the decision whether they want to put their kids in daycare or stay home.
I saw parents lining up at 7:00am to drop off their 9-month child and pick them up at 6:00pm. The child spent more time with the daycare worker than his/her parents, nice family life right there.
Yep Both of them have to work, because they just purchase a brand new BMW SUV, oh and last year they got a wonderful 600,000$ house. They have a loan too for their chalet up north. But it doenst matter cause daddy got only 2 years left before the boat is entirely paid.
You see what i did there? This is the typical 2012 family who earn more then 130,000$ income.
If you want to stay with your kid until hes 5 and wanna raise him by yourself, ditch the BMW, Boat and Chalet. If not shut your mouth and go to work.
What you describe was brought upon by government and not solely society. For over a decade (since the late 90's), the Fed and Central banks worldwide have kept interest rates low to drive overconsumption and a fake economy. Had Governments and Central Banks been responsible they would have kept rates up and not have created a bubble, instead they created the worst bubble in history (housing). In parallel to all of this, they ketp on increasing taxes so the population gets double squeezed. Yes, you can blame individuals but in the grand scheme of things the government is ultimately responsible for this because they only know what thing and that is when the shit hits the fan we need to "increase taxes" and this ultimately stifles and chokes an economy.
I see thousand of family in quebec with 2-3 kids, house/car payment, property taxes etc. with an income less then 100,000$. And yes they are happy! Surprising!!! Stop wasting money on stuff you dont really need (top of the line cell phone, clothes brand, 3-4 trip/per year,6-8 shoes/year, 3-4 restaurant/week), after that you will save a lot more then 5,000$ trust me.
Can you realize that 90% of quebec population do less then 130,000$?
And BTW im not the typical quebecer like you people think, im just for the '' GROS BON SENS ''
And Neither Charest/Marois/Legault as an idea of what is the '' Gros bon sens ''
But you know what is funny about that.... Marois might have a good chance to win you know why!! All the anglophones will spread there votes between Charets and Legault, and that will get Marois as the winner. Trust me its not gonna be better then Charest but defenitily its impossible to get worse.
So you guys rich people of MR (we all know that MR is full of rich people), stop being cheap and pay mouuuuahahahahah lol
