so yeah, my cx7 had a Cd stuck in it for months and it says NO CD, trying to eject it and it doesnt change anything it keeps saying No cd
and now when i plug my iphone it keeps saying No CD, before when i plugged it it would detect my iphone and play the music, but now when i plug my iphone and select CD it says no cd, the car is a 2008 mazda cx7 gt and the radio is out of the warranty, its only drivetrain thats under warranty

have someone else had this problem? how did u get the cd out ?

is the radio hard to disaseamble and remove the CD manually?

I have found this for you (no good news)...

I have had a few of these come to my shop. The gears jump out of timing causing the cd lift to jam or become unalligned. The unit will probably have to be disassembled to get the CD out or have it serviced.

My GM did that, i could never have gone more than a day without cds.

Here's what worked for me: I took out the fuse, then put it back in it. It deprogrammed the unit, but it ejected the cd and never did it again.

Don't know if it's going to work for you, but if you put another cd in to try and fish out the old one it often works. Sometimes it's because it doesn't grab the cd properly. The extra cd adds thickness so it can grab it

All audio units I've taken out had a pin button to push the cd out. It is not visible until you remove the unit from the dash. My Audi has one also.

The radio CD broke twice on our Camry 1999, once on warranty (the car wasn't even one year old) and a year or two after the end of the warranty. Back in the days, CD radios where quite new in cars, but now, I don't get how they still have problems. Anyways, all I need now is an AUX plug.
