Whenever I drive in traffic I find myself constantly looking in the rear view mirror, hoping the guy behind me doesn't rear end me. It's happened to me twice and I keep thinking it'll happen again, every time I drive in traffic.

Question simple: quand vous conduisez, faites-vous confiance dans la capacité de conduire des gens autour de vous? Les membres répondent à cette question.
 
Absolutely not. People drives like absolute restards here, with absolutely no regards to anyone around them.
 
Nope. Especially when somebody else is driving me. I'm scared for my life because it's incredible how shitty people are at driving.
 
Je conduis toujours comme si les autres voulaient me rentrer dedans à chaque instant. Ça devient une habitude, surtout quand tu roules une moto...
 
Not just driving, parking as well! I always fold my mirrors in to avoid idiots ripping my mirrors off (accidentally).

I always park far away to avoid dings.

I always leave 2-3 cars distance between my car and the car in front of me at a stop light.

If I am the first one at the stop light, then I leave about 2-3 cars distance between my front bumper and the stop line to not get hit by someone who does not know how to turn left (or right if it is a big truck from the other direction).

I am a total FREAK!
 
fck no, people are so useless at driving it's not even funny. Not saying I'm the stig or anything, but christ there are some retards out there.
 
J'ai pas vraiment peur de me faire rear ender. Si on est prévoyant et qu'on freine pas fort, y'a pas de raison que ça arrive. Je watch plus en moto mais je vois presque rien derrière avec mes petits miroirs de moto.

Anyway, j'ai un shitbox et c'est pas plus rien, pas plus tard que ce matin quelqu'un a laissé un belle grosse marque blanche avec une petite scratch sur ma porte (au stationnement de ma job).

c'est drôle parce que si tu faisais un sondage auprès de tous les québécois, le sondage te dirait que tout le monde pense qu'ils conduisent bien, que c'est pas eux le problème, mais les autres! C'est toujours les autres qui chauffent mal!

Not at all. I'm not saying i'm the best driver ever either but I pay close attention to everything. I learnt to anticipate stupid moves from stupid drivers. Especially when people change lanes. If i had a dime for every time someone changed lane without checking their blind spot and almost hitting me i'd be a rich person.
 
Same for me, but me every time I'm in the traffic specially on the Champlain bridge and there's closing line. I always check my side mirrors so that the ******* Ti counes don't cut me .

The worst it's in the parkings I always try to park beside the wall, cuz people always hit my door
 
Same with the parking thing, either that or I park away from people. Already had my car keyed and door dented -.-
 
Faire confiance aux autres conducteur est sans aucun doute le pire conseil qu'on pourrait jamais donner a quelqu'un.
 
en jeep sais pas inquiétant sais eu autre les pire enfaite si sa fait des false move ... mais en prelude oui sa me dérange ... mais bon la prelude sais juste un jouet sa niaise pas dans le trafic ...

Déjà que la moitier de la population (incluant tous ceux ici qui disent qui trust pas personne) croient que la rue leur appartient... :nono:
