What's up guys
I wanted to wait till the show was over to post this detail!
I was contacted by Jo a week before the show, timing was right on as I had two exams that week leaving me with enough time to work on the car. Initially I was going to do a full 3 Step correction on the paint but quickly realized after prepping the car that the paint was in really good condition so I decided to go with a 2 Step Polish instead.
The owner wanted to a clean the engine bay and have a good int cleaning as well ( no car int shampoo involved)
Here are the pics:
At the arrival
After doing the initial inspection I started cleaning the engine bay. Here I'm using a foam cannon with a powerful cleaner
Once the engine was cleaned I attacked the ext
Wheels & tires first
Foaming the car
Once the initial wash was completed I continued the process by decontaminating the paint
The car was washed again
I noticed a bit of bugs on the front end so I cleaned that as well
And followed with a hand wash
Last foam wash and rinse!
I know these look a bit overkill but I really like making sure the car is 100% clean before polishing, otherwise the polishing pads get dirty and everything gets messy.
Once the car was ready for polishing I pulled it in the garage to start the prep work. Here are some pictures of the damage, it was really hard to capture the swirls on this particular color.
Once the car was fully inspected I started polishing
This was the result
The hood needed a bit more work so I had to wet sand some areas.
After pictures
In the garage, ready for pick up!
Thanks for reading!
Cheers
