Hi!!
So its been about 10 months now that I have been looking to buy an E46 M3
I am not in a rush but hopefully It will happen by next spring!
I currently drive an E90 330i it is in amazing condition. I love it and I am not exactly sure if i want to trade it for an older car.... BUT ITS SO TEMPTING
So I have a few questions to current and Past owners of the E46 M3.
I know about the common issues such as Subframe, RTAB, FCAB, bearing recalls...
1) what else would you suggest to look out for when shopping for one?
2) What to look for?
3) at how much should I be aiming to spend? I know the normal price range is anywhere from 12k-35k... I am planning to spend no more than 20k... is that enough? ( say for a 2002 or 2003)
4) What are the maintenance costs like? realistically saying ( if only something breaks)
5) what are some things you hate about the car? ( if any)
6) Do you ever regret buying the car?
7) any other advice/comments you have will be highly appreciated!!!
8) Also where is it best to look for one? I am always on kijiji, lespac, craigslist and MR
i dont mind travelling to Toronto to buy it but not the states... Is there a forum like MR but for Toronto?
Cheers to one of the best cars ever made!
