Hi my mom is getting old and wants a Tempo snow shelter so she can relax this winter without worrying about shovelin'.

I wanna help her get it done.

1) Is there a brand better than another?

2) Is it really a headache to install?

3) Should I just rent it and let a guy install it?

4) Sand bags or concrete screws?

thx mr

and for the other questions..what is your position?

harnois versus grey ones of canadian tire
Harnois classic install time 2.5 hours in usage since 2007
canadian tire grey one 2 men took us 5 hours to put one last fall and it crashed in the winter

harnois cost was $450 in 2007
canadian tire same size paid 299 in 2011

I put small concrete block, 3 on each side
anchor it in the grass with 15 inch big nails
install it yourself no real tool needed just some patience and a helper

and watch your doors ...

Canadian Tire Shelter Logic ''Tempos'' are FUCKIN SHIT!!! Wanted to start a thread similar to see where I could get a new one. Used to have a real Tempo made by Tempo and it was awesome! Lasted for years. Had the Shelter Logic for two winters. It's bent, ripped and brolen.

the tempo nowadays is made in china, go to costco they have it for 324.99 11 X20 feet.
quality has gone down as these companies now just want make money.
no longer made in quebec

1) Is there a brand better than another? TEMPO is a brand and it's good.

2) Is it really a headache to install? It's easy like lego.

3) Should I just rent it and let a guy install it? Unless you don't have somebody to help you install it, yes.

4) Sand bags or concrete screws? Screws, wind blows them around fast even with cement blocks on them.

I have a double and a single, the single is a custom with big pipes from TEMPO. Put them all up in a couple of hours with my girls.

canadian tire shelter logic is a nono

Tempo has mixed reviews.

cosco quality is cosco quality

harnois seems to be good but expeez.

I need more reviews so i can make my choice!
Your experience & opinions are more than welcome guys! *tu*
