Looking for $6500.
I know it’s not the right time, but would make a great winter project for someone. So I’ve decided to sell my 1991 E30 project with an S38B36 euro engine transplant. Originally the car was a 318IS. The car was purchased from a Vwvortex member back in 2008 in its original condition. In 2011, I purchased the S38B36 engine, tranny , and accessories and started the transformation.
New Parts:
-Rebuilt differential (325is) upgraded bmw lsd with 50/50 lock up
- High flow radiator
- Dual fans
-Front and rear sway bars
- M5 clutch kit
-Fuel pump
-Crank sensor
-Water pump
- Rotor, distributor cap, sparkplug wire set
-Various seals: crank, output shaft, valve cover
-Custom exhaust system
Etc...
So much $$$$$ has been dumped into this car and I sell it with a heavy heart.
The car needs the following to be road worthy:
-Cooling system to finish
-Suspension to change (preferably coilovers). Car is presently lowered with a -FK 75/50 Cupkit
-Engine mounts (poly)
-Brake system upgrade
The paint and body are in very good shape (has not seen snow or rain in the past 15 years)
as well as the interior: seats are excellent.
The car is a work in progress and must be towed to its new destination. Car starts and runs.
