My SI was the greatest all around car money can buy imo full srs
Oh look, I found a Dodge Dart for almost 10k less:

Oh wait, it's the bigger, funnier, more spacious version that is similar to the mustang you wanted.
One of the best engine and handling packages of any "cheap" car recently imo
3 interesting threads in a week. dafuq is happening to MR?
What? Post link to those other 2 threads cause I missed them
WTH... Why is EV making so much sense in this thread....
Anyways, happy that your happy with your car, but seriously your arguments for buying it are way off.
Reliability? Not proven yet, and dodge doesnt have the best track record...
Financial? I agree the Mustang would have been worse, but if you were serious about saving money, you would have bought something a little more base model.
Options? What options are you talking about? You can get everything better in the aftermarket. Wheels, tires, radio, speakers, nav, bluetooth... Apart from little gadgets which are pretty much useless, most cars have'em.
Someone said the Civic Si. I have one, has proven reliability, similiar performance, and holds good resale should you ever need to sell it. The Si has just about every option you need, and more for the same price.
Anyways, you made your choice, you're happy, but you dont need to try and justify it. Especially when you're not making sense.
For those suggesting the FR-S, well he said he wanted space, and seems to have wanted 4 doors. Also adding a Turbo would push him to around 38k, since the FRS alone would come to around 30k. And i dont know where you buy your turbo kits, but anything quality, would push you around 5k minimum. Not to mention the tuning afterwards, and even that is limited at the moment, as the ECU is still being worked on for tuning. Its new, so your limited in programming for now.
Actually the Dart makes 14 more torques than the Civic, but has 40 less HP. The Dart also has MUCH better fuel efficiency the the Civic (Dart = 27/39mpg city/hwy and the Civic = 22/31mpg city/hwy)Both have 4-doors...so not really an advantage over the other for either of them. And in the end, the Civic is more expensive (car cost). If we factor in the OP's age, the Civic will also cost more on insurance, and will attract cops and tickets more as well. The Civic Si has even more power and more torque than the dart. I see no better option than a 4 doors Si (power, fun, PROVEN reliability, look, fun, power, 4 doors more whores) for the exact same price
And I bet gas cunsumption will be cheaper on the Civic even if everybody ITT tells me 'oh noez the 1.4 was designed for fuel economy' which is clearly not the case

They each have points above the other, and for that reason, I place them pretty much in the same place. Yes, the Civic has proven reliability, but we don't have proof that this car is NOT reliable yet. Can't make assumptions.
fr-s with a turbo kit for 31k? good luck.
$27 800 + both taxes = $31963http://montreal.kijiji.ca/c-cars-vehicles-cars-trucks-2013-Scion-FR-S-W0QQAdIdZ429269457
You'd be surprised what depreciation does to a car's value.
$27 800 + both taxes = $31963
On parle de char neuf ici, pas de used.
