Where do you service your Japanese car in West Island?

Hello guys (and girls).

Can somebody recommend a well known "mecanique general" place in the West Island area - people who know what they are doing and are passionate about taking good care of cars!

For the last 8 years I was going to a place on Gouin Boulevard where the owner was a real professional and very experienced in car care, but he sold his business and the new guy sucks (very much) - on top of that he moved the garage to Laval....

I am currently driving Acura - this might be of importance as some places are specialized only in Japanese cars, others in German etc.

Reason why I do not want to go to the official Acura/Honda dealers - all the time that I have been to those, there always be something not done properly, or they will push me to change/fix things that the car isn't telling me I need to change, or they would just hide some information from me when I am asking them questions. Of course I do understand there are many more official dealers than I have been to!

Thank you for helping me with this - I know there are a lot of people on this forum who are very serious about taking good care of their cars - I will be expecting your replies!

Regards,

Boris

There's another garage on Gouin at the corner on Monk in Pierrefonds, it's the Crevier gas station. The owner is a really good guy and they know all types of cars there, I've been going there for years.

RPM Autotech over on Lakeshore near woodland. They used to do all my servicing (still do for my parents). Also Duratech on pierrefonds, near st charles. Great guys, A1 service.

x2 for Claudio. Great mechanic, and honest. Just don't expect to bring your own parts.

Also Autobar. Good guys there too.

MY mechanic in hawkesbury is amazing. Cheap, quick, super helpful and honest. He's also a certified Honda engine and transmission specialist and used to build up engines for fun. He had an NA EK about 10 years ago that ran 13.10 on slicks.
Just saying.
