so like many of u know i have a STI wagon and my friend has a rx7 fd3s that he wants to sell because he has another t78 rx7, so i offered him to trade for my sti
(inb4peoplestartcallingmegaybecauseofthetrade)

SOOOOO now im gonna be runnin a fd3s in winter and shit, this is my first time RWD In Winter, what would be the best tires dimensions to get for a rwd ? i cant get 255/45/17 in winter lol

also i am going to add weight in the back, should i get studded or normal tires? i heard studded tires are very bad for rain

anti rust will be done and stuff

any other stuff that i should do in order to not get stuck or not fuck shit up in winter? what kind of oil should i use on a 13b-rew in winter? i use 20w-50 in summer but thats cuz i hit the VTAK everyday

oh and this car has coilovers, ill take them off and put them on my rx7 so i can slam it like 99.9% of MR hellaflush members , so the winter rx7 will be higher

Je c pas pour les rx7 mais les rx8 lhiver c vrmt de la grossee marde sa part jamais c toujours noyer pis t oubliger changer tes bougies qui brule a cause sa qui coute un bras..... So achete un beater right now !!

you already have one???? What the hell is the point.

Stop changing winter cars and just stick with what you have or sell both and get one car

I did a 2 winters with my Fc and it was a charm ! get yourself a good battery 10w30 syntec oil, and some 16 inch tires somewhat skinny if you can and make sure it always get warm before you shut it off

i used to run on studded tires and loved that but its not for every one and yes in can get dangerous on asphalt and in the wet but snow and ice you'll be amazed by the stopping distance and to get some traction use higher gears

Never use syntec in a rotary unless you have a Sohn adapter or disabled the OMP...

wow STi for a old car? seems like your friend is getting a great deal and not you lolll. A rx7 twin turbo is around what , 13-14k? A STi is a good 16k$++ Not to mention the old and ugly interior of the rx7 ... it's a great summer car that looks great with rims and clean but with all the dirty and winter wheels ... it'll look as good as a 6000$ rx7 unfortunately.

Honestly, STi for a Rx7 ?

MY friend has a slammed FC as a winter beater. He got stuck changing plugs like 4 times in -20 or colder. Good luck.
