What happens when a forum isn't full of trolls and douchebags, the story of the Jeep

A respected member of a quebec classic car forum died a couple years ago.

We, the members, bought 120$ tickets, used the money to buy his Camaro back from his widowed wife and pulled a name out of a hat so we could award it to a forum member.

The winner still has the car today. It was one of the greatest forum meets I've ever attended.

we could all chip in and buy ev's shitbox ( read civic) back...and fix it for him...and yes install a catback..since he still didn't find a cheap garage..

jeep guys are tight knit community theyre hardcore, sorta like the VW community until 08-09

on MR it would just be lol wat a faggit did he even lift?

It's a different kind forum here too, not like a forum for a specific brand or vehicle.

Jeep guys are insanely tight. Lots of them go out wheeling together and end up trusting each other with their lives at times.

MR is a great forum, but, as you said, full of douchebags and retards. If this were a brand specific forum I'm sure there would be tighter moderation and a closer community, but lettuce be cereal, that would not reflect the Montreal scene at all, so...
