On sale for $20! needed one for a while and you can't go wrong at that price.

Yeah u can't really go wrong for that price. I've had mine a few years and it still works fine, just don't expect it to last under 24/u usage. The only downside to it is it's weight and size, but your's is probably the newer one so they're smaller and not as powerful.

Snap On has decide to make the classic hard handles again for a limited time.. I had to buy the green handles and a set of orange to resell. The greens will go nice with my black set

Aahhhh fml, I regret buying the soft handle kit. Have to wash them like crazy to make them look clean.

The wera screw driver handle design is much better.. But there is just something nice about the SO handles.

Bump!
Personne a essayé clefs SO flank drive plus?

Best Keys on the market IMO.. I've had mine for AGES and while they're expensive it should be a must have for everyone. You can crack loose brake fittings with the open end since it has teeth that dig in. They mare finishes though keep that in mind. I suggest having a regular set of for that kinda work or aluminum wrenches...

2nds would be either Cornwell or MAC Knuckle saver (Wrenches are still USA made)

The Cornwell's and MAC feel much better in the hand compared to the Snappys. The snappys can sometimes feel like holding the sharp end of the knife. IMO the finish on the Cornwell tools is much better than SO as well. I've had a few wrenches replaced under warranty for chipping/flaking chrome. However the Flank Drive+ system is still worth it.. as I said and general consenious is best on the market hands down. I have 7mm-21mm. 22-32mm is Craftsman RPs (USA Made of course) For the amount of times. I really only use the 22/24mm for cracking jam nut's loose on Porsche's

It's a damn shame there is no Canadian Dealer for Cornwell (family owned company) The quality was always on par for SO but the brand isn't that well known outside the USA. Nowadays though the quality seems to be exceeding SO.

If you want to be different you can always get a set of Hazet or Stahlwille

The nepros stuff is nice but they don't seem to make 9mm or 11mm and few 16s.. if you work on Eurocars that can be an issue.

Canadian Tire does have Mastercraft sets on sale this week for 25$.. I bought an SAE set to have around at home.

Matching is overrated.. I have an orange box, with green handles, red handles, black, orange, blue and yellow. I buy what I like and In the mood for.

That being said... SO black hard handles at a fraction of the price. Made In USA as well

I have a couple of GripOn I prefer my old school 10R ViseGrips that are still stamped Dewitt NB USA
Le problème c'Est qu'ils deviennent de plus en plus rare à trouver...Sinon dans les modèles encore en production grip-on> vise grips china.

Yep getting almost impossible now.. Every time I see an old hardware store I usually stop in to see what old tools they might have. I've been lucky a couple times.
