New Project - 02 WRX

A BOV won't do any real damage, but it's not necessary either. It's just for the sound pretty much.

How's the timing belt? Was it changed recently or ever? I'd change the diff fluids and trans fluids if you haven't done so already.

Im thinking of blacking out the interior so im not sure about that switch :p
Timing belt was changed recently so that should be good, and how would I go about changing those fluids? I'm not a mechanic lol

Didn't remove the seats from the brackets because the new ones already had them on! Just the 4 bolts for the seats

It's really easy, especially the rear diff. There's 2 bolts on it one to fill and one to drain. You would just need a funnel and a small hose.

It should be easy to find a good DIY for it tho.

I read that the wrx 02 has the most comfortable but still sporty seats ever. A lot of people ditched the v7/v8 STi seats because theyre too hard.

Yeah I find that the seats are very comfortable! And they still hold you nicely.

However STi seats look a lot better, and since 02-03 is a bit old chances are the drivers seat is pretty worn out.

Exactly, the STI ones are super clean and change the look completely, but the WRX ones are extremely comfortable also!

Since when running rich damages the turbo??? Yes it will build up a little carbon in the exhaust/cats and some small backfires, but damage the turbo???

Unfortunately, with a MAF system what ends up happening, from a mechanical point of view, is that the MAF calculates the amount of air going through it and tells the Injectors how much gas to spit out.

What ends up happening with Blow Off valve? You release some of that air when you let go of the gas pedal, forcing the car to run rich.

Anyone know what specs of wheels fit nice on a WRX ? Im thinking of 17"

Also, bought some more goodies today :) Gotta love spending money on car parts!

Given the choice between running rich for a split second or running lean I'll take running rich every day of the week. Lean + turbo results in more than turbos melting. Nice progress!

Get some pictures of your nardi steering wheel installed i want to buy the same steering for my Z :)

If you just dont like the look i would be interested haha ;)
