FJ cruiser reliability?

So I'll soon be in the market for a newer car, I was looking into the possibility of an SUV. We used to have an FJ at work and I remember loving it. Do we have any long term owners here? How is the reliability after 60 000 kms. Any common problems to look for?
I would be looking into a base manual version around 2009

Le seul defaut que j'ai entendu du fj,c'est la consommation d'essence. A part sa c'est l'equivalent d'un 4 runner moins civiliser.

I seriously considered getting one after driving it, just make sure not to get one in their awful colour selection

honestly it would be between an FJ and a wrangler and honestly the FJ looks like the better choice especially if I can find a 6 spd manual. The fuel economy is about the same as an older wrangler too

this looks fkn good tome + Toyota reliability

The things i like about the wrangler is that its 4 door and the tops and doors come off

just for the pleasure of your eyes , the FJ seems like a nice SUV !

Le seul trouble c'est le frame qui peut casser en avant où le support à moteur. c'est pas relié à la corrosion et ça affecte tout les frames prado. il y a pas de rappel il me semble.
à part ça, très bon truck.

FJs are great trucks. For city driving you'll get a way better ride than in a JK.

Esti que j'ai hate que la neige fonde.

I know 2 guys who own fj's and heard of no complaints.

If I could go back a year ago when I looked at a Grand Cherokee and FJ, I would've forked out the cash for the FJ...

Some people on the Rover board switched over to the FJ years ago because they got tired of Rover problems and they love them.
