Best garage for modified Honda in Montreal?

I have a swapped Civic (nothing high power or anything, but still swapped) and I don't want to bring it to my regular garage for any maintenance. I know for a fact they'll be confused because it's swapped, and they will not use the right Honda parts/the right oil and filters.

Any decently priced recommendations in and around Montreal? I live in Saint Laurent.

You live in st-laurent, so KNS would be the best choice it's at your door. what engine do you have out of curiosity ? there is absolutly nothing special with swapped Honda's by the way... there as easy to fix and maintain.

I've heard only good things about those guys.

I'm not sure if I want to drive 30 minutes for service though. If I have to leave my car at a garage, it's handy taking the STM to pick it up.

I've been to KNS before, they're always an option!

I have a B18B in my Civic. I know we're not talking about a high compression 250whp motor or anything, but I have heard of shops turning down cars because of swaps before. I also don't want to go to an everyday shop and have them use cheap parts/liquids, or have them install the wrong parts.

Feel free to give us a call to discuss your needs. We know Honda's very well, from oil changes to full dyno tunes.

Awesome!

dude, it's like bringing an integra to a garage... there is nothing special in that swap, i tell you. when you make engine maintenance you're working on the integra, and when you're doing other stuff you're working on the civic... that's it.

I say go to KNS as well.

But your car is pretty simple, just do some research on what parts you need before you bring it to a garage. You would be using either Integra parts or whatever you would normally have on your car, not that big a deal really.

edit: didn't read the post above, but ya what he said.

If you're looking for a Honda specialist take it to Laminar or Synoptic.
KNS is just a general mechanic. Big Difference.

KNS are still pretty good and im sure that they'll be more than capable of servicing his swapped honda. You dont really need some hardcore tuner to service a swapped honda in all honesty. We do it all the time here and there's even a guy who works here who owns a swapped turbo honda and its nothing too crazy. Some general mechanic garage might but most who are into performance probably won't.

It's basically a integra, nothing hard. Any shops that can work on slight modified cars can do it for you. If there's one close, then choose this one. Don't waste your time traveling ect. Were talking about 140hp and less with the loss of power during the years.

I'm not disagreeing with you,but OP asked "what's the best garage for a modified Honda."
I answered his question.

Of course, many people can service a basic Honda.

Va pas payer plus chere pour ton entretien pcq tu pense que sa va etre compliquer... Ta juste a prendre un garagiste de confiance... Si un mecano rate un chanement dhuile pcq ta un swap engueule le de ma part!
