Who crashed their white STI/WRX sedan (newer model) last nite off exit 62 in verdun?

There was a such car next to the gas station near exit 62 in Verdun ~4:30 am, he "dive-bombed" the turn at the exit and bounced off the wall. Salt on the ground overpowered his ultra sophisticated AWD system as he was braking into the corner from the inside line and under steer got the best of him
Anyone here know him or of him?
really hope he`s ok and does not do that again
I mean I saw the guy get out of the car and walk around looking at the car like wtf did i fo , so i know hes "ok", just more of an ego crush and a "coup" to the morale than anything,
didn't have time to stop and chat or take pix , i was against the clock for a personal emergency and on the way to the hospital with a friend

Impossible, STI are the best and only winter car! Even with full racing slick they still grip on black ice. Probably forgot to install his rallyarmor mud flap... That's why he crashed

LOL no doubt @ terribleone
nah he was a definite novice at cornering, fast on the high way though going 200 or so blowing past me but i wanted to get a closer look at his cornering technique( lack there of as i found a few moments later) its probably because of my hid`s that he missed the correct line by about a car`s width as he floored it approaching the corner and braked at the same time( must be a technique I`m not aware of ) hoping for the best and some grip
its sad to crash such a great car in such a shitty attempt and i really really hope he never experiences that again, i know it sux

Can't be a lack of skills my friend because when you buy an STI (work if when you lease it also) the car come with the driving skill package which turn you into a ken block rally gymkhana.

So I'm pretty sure you're hid blinded him but since he got the ken block rally gymkhana driving skill package he's used to getting tailgated by a car with crazy light pods that provide more light than the sun itself.

The technique you're not aware of is called "the infamous : omgimcrashingbothfootonbrake" seem like the technique didn't work to well but it's a problem with the ken block rally package

OMFG rolf ... i need a new keboard now, the gulp of coke i had in my mouth is all over my screen and KB, thx bro

i didnt know the sti`s came equipped with that shit haha

hahahahahhah this is too jokes! love this thread! i did a rally driving course with Mecaglisse this winter, driving my fwd Civic 2012 (no SI), and all the others came equipped with STIs lmfao! so much failure! and this dude was trying to learn left foot braking, wearing big ass rubber boots. Same dude didn't know he had traction control on the car (or how to disable it for that matter) :D I love STI owners! :D

our body shop was full with subaru this week and another 5-6 are still outside waiting for their turn. People driving 4wd vehicles are way over confident because they can take off faster than others, but they always forget about the challenge of stopping and turning when you're speeding on slippery roads. I believe that since almost every single subaru coming in are front and front/side damaged.

oh and in defence of the guy who crashed, these new model WRXs are very prone to understeer. Although what isn't at the speed you were talking about :dunno:

soooo truee!!!! i think Quebec should have tougher driving tests (like the Sweeds, or Norvegians). At least a slippery corner test.

That exit 62 turn is famous for people side swiping the wall, I think they repaint that wall about once a month.

People fly off that exit and that turn is very deceiving as it does not look like a 90 degree turn but by the time they realize it.....it's too late!!!

it is s strange animal that 62 turn if your "attacking" blind,
in any case the purpose of the thread i must say was not intended to bash the guy in any way i just wanted to see if someone had heard something
but keep the comments coming :)

You forgot the mandatory DC cap on the side and the Ken block DC shoes...

I drove a 01 WRX the other day and that thing was understeery. I think its the chassis or the rear suspension, but damn not a good feel.

LOL , i think its my friend.

He crashed his White wrx/sti 2-3 days ago on a highway exit , pretty similar to what youve seen.

he told me that he lost control of the car in the exit , i know he usually drive fast and he also told me that there was a bit of ice on the ground where he lost control , anyway , the rear wheel hit the embankment and rolled over like a boss!

He is fine , a little injury to the back/neck , nothing serious.

and actually this sick bastard is making fun of himself , he know he screwed up i think !

I saw a crashed ferrari with a smoking hot chick in it, then I saw a purple hippo with a rhino in the side car of a motorcycle cruising along Sources blvd...

Then I decided to create a thread with no pictures.

Well that package is not available when you buy the car.

You get those extremely rare super ken block skill item once you get the super ken block achievement.

Getting those super rare item is pretty simple.

A) you have to drive super fast without having any idea what the fuck you're doing beside that you're driving at the speed of ligh with your rally ready 2.5 or STI... Yes yes it's true these car are rally ready straight from the dealer and remember you got your awesome driving ken block gymkhana rally skills so nothing can stop you!

B) step two is crashing your car for no reason beside those mentioned in step A.

C) this is a bonus item!!!!!! If you totaled the car, you even get the Dc/ken block extreme team rain coat!
You might need it on a rainy day to walk to work so you can keep paying for that STI you finance on 20yrs.
