OEM vs MOOG vs Spicer

C'est mon lower ball joint qui va être à changer éventuellement. Je suis assez dure avec mon auto, je vais souvent en forêt avec et je frappe pas mal de trou et en plus de nos nids de poule et je me demandais qu'est-ce qui est vraiment le meilleur, je pense que ma petite suby le mérite bien.

J'ai entendu dire que les MOOG c'est dans les tops en plus que c'est garantie à vie, je veux que les composants de ma direction résiste le plus possible. Je pense garder ma petite voiture assez longtemps vu que je m'achète une propriété ce printemps.

Vos expériences?

Vous connaissez des détaillants de MOOG qui ont des prix compétitifs?

I have a bunch of MOOG parts on my Jeep.. I kept breaking OME stab links and so far the MOOGS are still doing great.
 
I had MOOG upper ball joints on my TL and I had to have them replaced after a few months 'cuz they were shot... And that was not on a daily driver.
 
buy MOOG of the internet..you'll save a ton...auto parts stores in canada are overpriced...( rockauto FTW)
 
Moog is the industry standard, they are the best , with the best warranty.
Often in Moog boxes you will find OEm suppliers and Spicer is just one of a few.
Sorry Greg, I normally agree with you, but in the aftermarket- Mood is still the reference.
Maybe at your place you have a clientele with higher wear vehicules or commercial... dunno..

The commercial excuse is the typical parts counter guy saying, yea while the car/truck might get more use there is ZERO excuse for it failing during my warranty period considering the OEM part lasted much longer and even the Dealer would cover it yet I'd have to fight when my parts dealer saw an F plate on the bill id fax them. Then I have to explain to the client why the top shelf part I suggested failed and now the persons car/van/truck/whatever is down. In a past life I had to deal with the "normal" public and many trucks/vans. Not all MOOG stuff is bad and if I'm in a bind I'll buy MOOG (Cringe) but I just had too many bad experiences so No I won't suggest them. Thank god for WorldPac coming along because now OEM parts are cheap not only for me but the clients.

You know perfectly well where I work and I am very thankful that I no longer have to deal with such issues that contributed to my hairloss. :)
 
I was thinking of getting all moog for my civic when I redo my front end, should I look at something else then? I doubt the dealer is anywhere near affordable

À la base, quand un manufacturier garanti son stock à vie, c'est qu'il sait très bien que sa brisera pas.
