If you had to buy a used car, what car will you buy? Maximum 5 years old car, no super car. I am actually looking for another car, don't wanna take the hit on a new car... so I am looking for something, but don't know exactly what.

I was looking at A4, 3 series and C series... A4 nice interior, but normal look. 3 Series boring interior but somehow I like the look and C series... no manual gear box :(

I have to travel a lot to meet clients... so I want something comfy since I will spend a lot of time in the car, but still want to be able to have a little bit of fun time... I was looking at the FRS/BRZ (I know I said I don't want to take the hit on a new car, but heyy if it's cheap I wouldn't mind) and WRX but GOD their interior is worst than a Civic....

well for the looks its your taste. personally i would choose bmw 3 series manual because im feelling like it would be my first choice in mean of "luxury car" for kind of cheap prices.

and sorry for my poor english:p

Hmmm for taking clients and not looking too aged, 2010 A4 and 2010 328xi are not bad choices, I'd lean towards the A4 because of turbo ability and very nice interior.

No price range, no other factors to go by except for "used" (and even with that you mention a new car ?!) and "comfy"

Well, I'll go with a 2011 Cayenne GTS (since you seem to prefer manual...maybe..?!)

I don't understand why people don't want to buy a new car because of the "financial hit". If you buy a used car because you can't afford a brand new model, ok, but what is this non-sense of losing money. Your paying "extra" because you're getting something new that's yours from day 1. Nobody else to have not maintained it properly, nobody else to have abused it, nobody else to have soiled it, ..... it's your vehicle.

Personally I'd never buy a used car (if I could help it). Right now I'm still driving a 13 year old Honda Civic that was passed down to me from my parents and I've been in it since day 1 off the lot. You're only losing money if you sell it like an idiot a few years later otherwise it's the best investment. If you want to change up every other year, lease.

So unless you can't afford a new BMW, AUDI or whatever you decide you want, the best thing is to buy it new and good take care of it.

people that keep their cars for more then 5 years are very rare now-a-days. I personally kinda get bored or want something better after about 2 years max.

My gf owns an 08 A4 quattro shes likes it a lot despite the amount of problems shes having, Ive driven it a couple time and its comfortable ride. On another note the Acura Tl and or Infiniti G35 are also good choices for comfort and fun while driving.

I can afford a new car... my budget is up to $1000/month (with insurance), but I don't want to pay (let's say) a brand new $40 000- $45 000 Audi A4 when the 2009-2010 version is almost identical and I can have it under warranty for a while for almost $25 000 -$30 000... and like Lexus said, I get bored very easily... I know myself...in 5 years from now I will want another car... better looking, more performance, etc.... and with my job the more years I accumulate the bigger my basket of clients will be which mean bigger my paycheck..... maybe then I will be able to afford something more nice! that's why I want a used car, I know I won't keep the next car for 10-15 years, but I get your point. If it was a Porsche 911 or even the new Cayman i'll keep it for years and years but it's not one of those...for the moment.

I love the look of the new 3 series I wish they were producing that car a year before, if I want one I will have to buy it new .... but I need it for this summer... :(

How about leasing a new ATS for 3, max 4 years?

It will be in your budget (or probably less depending on how much your insurance is), fun to drive, new so full warranty and no hassle selling it at the end, just give it back to Caddy.

If not a 2009ish 335xi seems pretty much winner to me. Your only other manual options would be an A4, Legacy GT or Saab 9-3 turbo XWD.

There's also the TL-S but then again, why get something fwd when your budget permits an awd?

Have you looked at a Rallieart or Evo? I wouldn't buy anything not AWD or 4x4 with a solid suspension because:
