Sure, because the video we just watched was a mass killer at the McGill station....Also, mass killings being overwhelmingly common, they are obviously the main criteria by which overall crime rate is judged.

My point is not to arm every citizen or extermination (wtf) but when I see something that makes no sense it's a good thing to point it out.

Besides, it's not just the victim who is able to defend himself, anyone carrying a gun in the station can also assist. If the guy getting beat up has a gun, he won't pull it out in front of 3 other guns, but someone else witnessing this fucking sickening event is a potential savior here.

You are confined inside your assumptions that people should let other people walk all over them and then seek assistance afterwards because it has worked well for you so far, but if you ever find yourself in a situation where you are getting beat up and robbed at gunpoint while the general population is just walking by, afraid to assist you, this shit might change.

The way you argue is highly emotional most of the time and it gets a little ridiculous.

I mean....face the facts, this world will not change for the better and the fact that you see a mass killing every 6 months on the news is a spectacular facade to the real crimes happening everyday, everywhere, that you never hear about. I don't think anyone in the US will get to watch the OP's video on the 6 O' clock news, but it does not make it any less valid because this is what is really happening on a grand scale, while mass killings are isolated events.

Mass killings are not, IMO, an accurate measurement of any crime rate, or an accurate measurement of the effects of a pro gun society, plain and simple, so why bring that up just to balance the black people argument with the type of murder the white man is famous for, even though it's not relevant?
 
First off, those comments were aimed at wshokley because he, in fact, wants to exterminate poor black people. He calls it eugenics.

Second, if the 3 guys had guns and some random citizen decide to fire on them, we'd have a bunch of dead bodies, including innocent people, instead of just a bloody nose.

I mentioned that eugenics exists as a concept and explained what is was, but in your wet dream I guess I said I fully support it.

You are underestimating the deterrent factor of an armed population.

If the shitbags knew there was a better than average chance of passersby being armed, they would not attempt the robbery.

If they were armed and singled the guy out, he would just surrender and that would be the end of it.

This is a point I made several posts ago that you conveniently ignored.

That's a possibility, but another possibility is the fact that anyone thinking about mugging someone else will have to take into consideration other bystanders which might also carry guns and decide to act when they see what's going on.

You are picturing constant bloodbaths and shootouts at the grocery store, but it's more of a general social awareness that you might get your ass handed to you if you try to fuck with someone else's security, may the ass handing come from your victim or from someone else.

I personally think guns do too much damage to be just used by anyone in any circumstances (crowds, bystanders, ricochets, etc), but any lethal force applied to someone compromising your security is a good thing, it just so happens that guns are a popular and extremely effective option, even when they are not used, so I'm not against them.

If these 3 dudes were aware that let's say 10% of the population are carrying guns with them, this incident might've not even happen and no bloodshed would've happened either.
 
It almost happend to me at Namur. The train was almost empty and a guy pulled right next to me, I look up and he had a bandana covering all his face and a hoodie on. I got up asap and left at the next station. When I go out of the train, I looked behind me and he didn't moved, I did few more steps, look back and he was getting out so I jumped back in the metro just before the door closed.

he was all in black and we couldn't see his face.
 
We go around in circles, I say US has high crime and high gun ownership and you say it's because they have a lot of blacks. I say it's because of poverty, you say it's because they're monkeys. I say Canada has low crime because of less poverty and less guns and you say it's because it's mostly white people.

But the problem is we already do.... nearly free education for pre-university, welfare, all sorts of socialist services.... My parents and that of many immigrants came here with nothing. How did I come out not to be ghetto and beating people up for their wallets? Decent parents, proper education and good values? Probably.

How come some students from my high school became dropouts, bums, drug addicts or joined gangs and others did DEPs, DECs, BACs? Even the ones from good families?

"helping them out of poverty" would do nothing.

Because they rather stay in their miserable positions. They have no push in life. I don't find society should have the obligation or the responsibility of donating funds or services to provide motivation. That should come from within and be a personal responsibility. And for whatever reason, these guys rather dream about being somebody than doing something to become somebody.
