Buying a 3500$ car at a used car dealer tomorrow..Should I expect a full tank of gas?

When's the last time you heard of a 'good experience' from a used car dealer ? specially @ 3500$

When i was searching for my first car in MTL, I was going to used car dealership, i felt like i was getting STDs just talking to the salemen. Stay away from them at all cost, go buy a used car off kijiji, i'm sure you must know a friend that has a friend selling one. They are more likely to be more honest and you'll get a better deal.

I picked up the Impreza from Montreal Ouest Motors in Dorion and dealt directly with the owner who treated us very nicely. I haven't needed any service after the sale but the car was delivered on time, detailed and waxed, oil changed, winter tyres installed, summer tyres in the trunk, but the tank was at 1/4...

I'm not complaining, I wasn't expecting a full tank. I'm just making a case for a good experience.

I paid $46,000 for my car and they gave me half a tank. Apparently if I wanted a full tank I had to negotiate it with the price of the car. :squintfin

at mazda/honda we don't even fill up the tank on NEW car deliveries. at the used car dept they only fill up about 15-20$ lol

like everyone else said, highly doubt it

My experience with a used dealer was ok though, there are all kinds, the small ones can be real shady, smelly etc, but large outlets...like ones in Laval...heck, my old Ralliart was missing a radio so they offered to put in an old stock one or just give me $200, I took the money

I'm pretty sure you barely get any gas even if the car is bran new.

I had a pleasant time at my used car dealer purchase. They flat out handed me money after car price negotiation. Asking politely goes a loooong way. Even at 3500 they're still technically making 700+ on you. A decent salesman usually won't sweat the 35$ for half a tank at least.

Never got a car at a 2-bit used dealership without the gas light on upon delivery... However several yrs back when purchasing used cars at dealerships (2x in 2000 & 2003) I was given a full tank & a full detailing upon delivery... With current gas prices wouldnt expect a full tank upon purchasing a used car.

Bought a 2009 Wrangler 2 years ago. Gaz light was ON and dealer didn't what to fill it up because "i negociated the price of the Jeep"
Punk ass bitchzzz
