While reading several posts on the "off topic lounge" section i was wondering what you guys were doing in life, who you are...
I haven't seen any thread about it so i'll start...

I'm 35y.o Married and father of a 7 months old boy.
I work in human ressources and specialized in wage and social benefits.
I own a house


And drive a Saab.

my passions? Languages & culture, multiculturalism management. I like to travel and usualy go to Sweden & Norway since my wife is Swedish and her family still lives over there.

Good thread, hope not a lot of people troll, that way it's not filled with 12 pages of people saying they do nothing, and get paid the minimum MR salary of 125k/year.

For myself, I'm 27 and have been working as a Phys. Ed. teacher for the past 4 years. My passion is basketball, and I'm fortunate enough to coach high-level basketball as well, which gives me a very small income. I don't actually count it in my budget, but I love what I do.

I also work primarily as a wedding photographer over the summer, which is another passion of mine.

I might not be as wealthy as some of the people on MR, but I absolutely love what I do, and wake up every morning enjoying it.

I'm waiting for my condo to be built, which should be ready in August. Drive an old bimmer, and I'm also an Asian hipster apparently.

Since I work on contract over summers, I always want to plan at least 3 weeks away to travel every year. Haven't done much of it yet, but starting off with visiting France in July. After seeing most of Europe, I wanna venture in Asia, then probably Australia at the same time.

I live in Terrebonne (north shore of Mtl)
I do like sports as well, mostly hockey socer and baseball. Since i'm ain't tall (5'9) i never been a prolific basketball player.
I'm ain't rich either, i do expect to get a promotion soon and i am currently in parental leave... i shall return to work in early april.
I been several time to France since i'm french Canadian and do have few friends living there i truly feel like home over there. I did lived few year in Sweden.

25, work as a shop foreman/welder/mechanic/machinist.

Live in an apartment in Westmount. Same girl for almost 8 years.

Drive a GTI, and have an old '84 GTI that's a driveable continuous project. Avid cyclist and sailor.

Come on! A teacher salary is pretty decent. Dont compare you with the fake salary of MR...

Un gros 25 ans, papa d'une belle fille de 21 mois, je reste a mtl en condo avec ma blonde, Je travail en admin et je cherche présentement un nouvel emploi. Notre condo est a vendre on voudrait aller vivre dans les Laurentides. J'adore le snow , fait de l'escalade et cours 2 fois par semaine pour perdre le gras que j'ai cumulé durant les années. Je faisait du vélo de montagne mais je crois que j'ai fait mes dernieres decente, je risque de me concentrer sur le XC. Je conduis une subaru et je l'avou je suis big time vendu a la marque. Avant daller en admin j'ai fait un dep en cuisine , needless to say j'adore cuisiner et manger et évidemment bien boire. J'ai travaillé comme rep pour 2 micro-brasserie aussi (brasseurs Rj et Sleeman) donc j'ai un amour inconditionnel pour la bière et je ramasse les verres de bieres pour une raison x. J'ai un chien qui n'est pas Bro legit ''If a bro gets a dog, it must be atleast as tall as his knee when full grown. Corollary to this states, naming a lap-dog after a pro-wrestler or a character from a Steve McLain movie does not absolve a bro from this article.'' mais bon sa reste mon chien et je l'aime.

I'm of french canadian descent, 29y.o., have been with my spouse 10yrs last september, we have 2 cats & I work in one of the 'big 5' banks as a call center manager.
I currently lease a 2-story condo in Longueuil & eat, sleep and dream automobilia...
My other hobbies include drawing, movies (DEC in cinema), litterature/comic books & especially travel; my GF & I travel at least 3x a year and have visited all continents with the exception of the far-east (will be off the bucket list by April 2013).

I'm 27, divorced(if you can call that a marriage) and living on my own in a condo in VSL.
I used to spend like crazy and now I'm the stingiest guy ever lol
I have a DEP in mechanic, worked for Spinelli Nissan/Infiniti for 8 months but I left because I find it too stressful.
I work at the airport as a screening officer since 2005 and I love my job. I also met my gf here and she changed my life. She made me realize that life is worth living.

I'm a hands-on person and that's why I love to play around with cars and go to the track. Unfortunate I will have to lay low for a while because of the lack of funds.

I'm from Taiwan. We moved here since 1992 and I could say I feel more québécois than Asian. I'm white washed lol

Im a Lead 3d Vehicle Artist, have been working freelance\contract from my own home since 2004. If i wasnt getting raped by taxes every damn year and falling behind, i'd have a house by now. So i rent :\. I might not earn the average 100k MR salary, but i get to be home with my ladies every day, and work when i want to from the comfort of my home, hard to beat that if you ask me. Love cars and racing, can only afford to sim race now, so thats what i do with most of my free time.

Jai eu ma premiere job a 14ans a restaurer des casiers decole letee et lhivers les fds.
Jtravail maintenant dans un entrepot de distribution de fruits et legumes depuis les 4 dernieres annees
Jai eu 2 vehicules , un Jeep wrangler sahara 2010 et jai recemment fait lacquisition dun 2013 sport 2 porte pis celui la jaimerais lgarder jusqua sque jdoive le domper a la scrap.
Jreste avec ma mere pour la simple et bonne raison que nous avons une belle relation dentre-aide depuis pasmal toujours vu quelle ma elever seule , jpaye plus que ma part pendant que jy suis , sa reste moin cher qu un appart et jai des repas gratuit!
Sa ma permit deconomiser assez pour etre capable de macheter une maison maintenant , mais jsuis chicken et jprefere dattendre encore un ans pour etre sur davoir une bonne stabilitee financiere et pour pas me crisser la corde au cou avec un budget trop serrer.( jai vu trop de gens se planter en achetant trop vite )
Jai une passion pour les tattoos , jai eu mon 1er a 13ans et jsuis en bonne voie pour avoir le corp remplis meme si sa fait 3ans que jprend un break pour raffraichir mes idees.
Plus jeune jfaisais des competitions daltherophilie , quand jai lacher jetais 4eme au Canada dans ma cathegorie respective , la majoriter dmon ancienne team sest ramasser aux jeux olympiques de Pekin.
Jai pas vraiment de hobbies en smoment autre que de crisser toute mon cash de coter , jveux etre independant lplus vite possible et apres jcommencerai developper des projets.
Jaimerais bien macheter une ptite maison quia besoin dunpeut damour , sa fait parti dmes projets dapprendre a renover.

Hobbies:snowboard, films, musique quand j'ai un lousse pour moi car mon temps va beaucoup a mes enfants.

20 ans, célibataire pas intéressé et pas intéressant , j'ai un dep en mécanique auto mais présentement sur le chômage et je veux changer de domaine, j'habite chez mon père et je pille mon blé. J'aime les vieux trucks japonais, mais je suis pas dans une situation où il est raisonnable d'avoir ça comme daily driver et encore moins avoir 2 véhicules, mon samurai est donc malheureusement à vendre. je vais retourner à mes amours des 80's plus tard quand je vais être casé.
J'aime l'exploration des endroits éloigné, conduire peut importe la machine et la démolition d'objets divers ( ouais je suis fucké comme ça ).

I made a ton of cars for different sims\companies, but here is my all time fave, the 190E i made for NFS Shift.

I am 30 years old , been divorced twice , I have a beautiful 16 month daughter , I live in nuns island, been riding motorcycles for the last 10 years, buting a harley davidson in the near future, unfinished degree in psychology , business man, got back to Canada a few years ago after living 4 years in Russia, travelled the world (not entirely unfortunately) , love to cook and love red wine, love apple products although I use a PC at home, collect watches, big fire arm and hunting fanatic ( unfortunately not in Canada because its a pain) but every time I visit my home country I live at the shooting range, I have hairless cat to keep me company , gym is a lifestyle for me,

Don't like most of MR community with the exception of a few cool guys the reason why I'm still here is because of good old school memories..

Huge car enthusiast , I have owned over 50 different cars which was also part of my business at some point.

Planning on getting married for the third time sometime next year !

And I like to live life as every day is the last day.
