There is no French equivalent of pizza or hot dog, they are accepted in French, but there is a French equivalent of pasta, it's "pâtes".

Why even bother respondong to him? I am pretty sure all customers of La Buonanotte understand "Pasta", unless they are some uneducated hicks from the country side who are used to "chien chaud et patate frite".

Even in the elegant high-end Pacini Restaurant (a Quebecois favorite), they list words like "Pasta", "Piccante", "Robusto" on their menu.

This is a personal attack on Buonanotte.

moi aussi, j'étais revenu au Quebec et je commencais a penser m'installer, mais la j'ai vraiment le gout de repartir dans l'ouest canadien ou américain.
En plus la CAQ est rendue poule mouillée alors j'ai même pu d'espoir politique.
 
I still remember when Montreal was advertised as a multi cultural city where you only have to walk a couple of blocks to feel like you're in another country. Way to fuck everything up you insecure morons of the PQ.
