Vehicle: Audi A4 b6 2003 1.8T CVT FWD Sedan base / 200k
Aprés inspection voici l'horrible verdict :
-Valve Cover gasket
-Cam chain tensioner gasket
-Injector seals leaking
- FU L R+F Bushing ripped
- FU L+F Bushing ripped
- LR R+L Bushing ripped
- LR F Ball joint loose
-Center muffler
- All the brake lines ripped (4) (urgent)
Overall everything is fine.
The garage estimate between 1000$ to 1700$ parts and labor and they recommend to consider the timing belt an extra 600$ so it's a total around 2300$
I bought the car in October à 180K for 6000$, I have all the repair history and the previous owner was always doing service at Audi dealers but there is no record for a timing belt change and I’m unable to contact the previous owner.
I'm assuming he never did it. 200K :yikes:
So now i have a fixed idea, but i need your opinions guys, i love the car, but I’m planning to get rid of it ? after replacing the brake lines for safety.
