Nonprofit ocean protection group Oceana took 1,215 samples of fish from across the United States andgenetically tested them in order to bring us the following astonishing facts:

59% of the fish labeled “tuna” sold at restaurants and grocery stores in the US is not tuna.
Sushi restaurants were far more likely to mislabel their fish than grocery stores or other restaurants.

What’s for dinner at your local sushi joint? Pretty much anything but what’s on the menu.
In Chicago, Austin, New York, and Washington DC, every single sushi restaurant sampled sold mislabeled tuna.
84% of fish samples labeled “white tuna” were actually escolar, a fish that can cause prolonged, uncontrollable, oily anal leakage.
The only fish more likely to be misrepresented than tuna was snapper, which was mislabeled 87% of the time, and was in actuality any of six different species.

I got this information from my Cookie who is on the Canadian Food Safety Council. She told me this research doesn't apply to Canada ONLY because it hasn't been done here.

En gros en Francais ca dit que le thon mange aux USA n'est pas du vrai thon, et c'est surtout dans le cas des restaurants de Sushi ou pratiquement tout le thon c'est pas du thon mais bien une autre espece appelee l'Escolar, qui donne des fuites anales huileuses.

Hey, je pense a ca, c'est ben BEN pire que PASTA=Pates non? Ou sont les inspecteurs du gouvernemaman quand il s'agit des choses qui comptent?
 
C'est la faute du ministere sa . si marois etais pas la le poisson serais du vrai thon ... c juste que vue que on est des francais quebecois et le thon parle seulement anglais ils importe de limitation sous titré en francais .

Alors, si ta blonde te dit que c'est trop tight quand tu essais de la mettre dans le brun, t'as juste à lui faire manger ce poisson là et ça devrait mieux rentrer dans le "ça pue" ?
 
Hm I guess since I grew up eating sushi I know the taste/color/texture of the fish I'm eating.. although I did have that 'white tuna' incident where I was leaking orange oil... that was a f*cked up experience and I did tell the people on the table that the white tuna tasted different than usual.

Je comprend maintenant pourquoi j'ai toujours le flu après m'avoir bourré la face de sushis...
 
I've been eating sushi multiple times a month for 15 years, never had oil leaking out of my ass or the flu.
 
J'aurais plus peur d'un empoisonement au mercur et autres metaux lourd que de penser manger du saumon alors que c'est du flétant...

Same here, I eat sushi on a very regular basis (1-3 times a week), never been sick nor have I had anything but solid feces come out of my ass.
 
oil leaked out my ass when i was taking shit once after eating at all u can eat fake chinese sushi crap.

try to avoid the shit called Oil fish. its the white one. thats what i ate most that night.

the oil fish was already banned in korea a while ago. its illegal to sell it.
i'm surprised that it's not like that here already.
 
So t'est en train de me dire que quand Paul Walker a dis dans Fast N Furious qu'il aimais le sandwich au Thon qu'il nous mentais vue qu'il y a 38% de chance qu'il n'aille pas mangé de Thon en réalité ?

When you put your pink undies on, make sure the yellow spot goes in the front the the brown spot goes in the back... Don't mix those two up or else you will put your underwear the wrong way.
