I don't live in MTL anymore. So I can do this everywhere and always. (Suck it, SPVM)

Typical European driving, IMO. Having driven through Italy, Bosnia, Croatia, Germany, Austria, France, Netherlands, Norway, and other places in Europe, this is just the standard that is followed there, and individuals here in North America, with their horrible driving habits and complete lackluster training, where a semi-retard can easily obtain a license, just don't seem to get it. Funny how individuals in QC have so much to say about the "negative" habits in this vid, yet I'd wager that a good 80% of the population in Montreal has never once actually used their indicator lights.

Anyways, OP, if you don't mind me asking, what do you do for a living, and when/how did you make the move overseas? How are you finding it, and how long have you been there?

Is it just me or despite what everybody says about italian driving like idiot.. I haven't seen one of them go against the law...

Also, if you think your fast on the street and thats its harder to be fast on the street compare on a track.. You should really come and show your skillz learn on the street...

Well, I used to do IT/Business consulting, had my own little company in Montreal. Visited Italy to see the lambo factory when I was saving up to buy the car and I just knew I had to live here. 100000x better quality of life, no BS, no harassment, and I had a bigger blast driving a 69hp diesel fiat punto than my E90 M3 in mtl. I love it here, but I'm now broke as hell! Was expecting to earn a lot less (well worth it), but not 18 months to find a job 220km from home where you take home 400 a week. Good thing I brought 5 sets of tyres and every spare, tool, filter, and fluid for 30,000km! Fortunately things are starting to look up again.

Can you imagine coming up behind a police car at 260 and all they do is move over? Yeahessss :)

I sincerely applaud your guts to move. I would love to do that but I can't plan any life move unless I make equal or more than I do now.

Make less, enjoy life more?

A lot less :/

But a lot more, ya.

It seems impossible to get into trouble as long as you don't kill anyone, no matter how ridiculous you're being. Perfect for people not content with just being sheep.

I'm assuming you have your EU passport to make such a move. In that case I suggest you go a bit further up north and move to CH.
I had a job offer in Italy (PC) and didn't consider it because aside from the salary, everyone seems miserable there and complained about the govt, taxes and having to support the southerners. Their situation sounds far worse than QCs.

That aside, ballsy vids and great car.

Ya but in CH you can't do anything and they HATE cars. Highways are at 80kph half the time with cameras every km or so.

The people love cars! The amount of nice cars you see on a daily basis is insane.
But I agree, for driving you have to hit up Germany or other less stringent countries.

Considering most car companies set cars up to under steer because it's considered safer. Most people don't know what to do when the front is still biting and the rear goes wide, which is what would happen with fresh fronts. Sorry I wasn't more sideways, would have liked it myself!

(And I'm driving slower in the corners here in consequence)

front bald tires will give you even more understeer....

Not really. More contact surface you will say, but that's not all. The compound is not the same than the thread and for most tires, less sticky unless the tire is designed for slick use.
