this is something i have no problem with, as all soda is fucking garbage with huge health costs.

OTOH, maybe just make soda free so the dumbshits in the world all end up killing themselves.

Confirmed true. Each can of coke is like a sucker punch to the pancreas that sets you up for type 2 diabetes in the future

Why do I have the feeling we're not going to get fucked this time 'round. This would actually help me not drink soft drinks.!

It's to feel better for ourselves until they start taxing the water.......

No it won't. Will you really change your habits for 1$/1.50$?

It's just another way to get money from our pockets. Instead of paying your 12-pack +/-3.50$, it'll cost you +/-5$.

It's not about weither soda is good for your or not. It's about the government wanting to control your lives. The government has no fucking business telling me what I should drink or eat. That is a step toward totalitarianism.

The probleme is our health systeme. If its the governement (population) who pay it's kinda normal they can say something.

I hate paying for dumbfuck who smoke, drink and eat bad all day. They can do wathever they want... but i dont want to pay for them.

Wich is why we need to privatize healthcare.

As always, health problems are caused by excessive consumption of anything.

Drink one can of Coke every other day and you should be okay.

Drink four cans of Coke a day and you'll have trouble.

Drink a 2L bottle and you will need Insulin soon.

Same thing applies to just about anything, from Scotch to Vodka to orange juice to chicken, water, beef and even veggies.

Everything counts in large amounts.

NYC did the exact same thing or from what I remember banned them all together.

In NYC it is different, Bloomberg wants a ban on large size sodas. I totally agree with him, there is too much obesity in North America and the healthcare costs are exploding due to fat people. However, a NY court ruling last week overturned Bloomberg's plan. The fight is on...

The Philadelphia mayor tried on two occasions to increase taxes on soda and failed.
