Got up in MTL (Lasalle) yesterday morning, my GF had an appointement to a doctor on St-Jacques @ 10AM. Getting out of lasalle wasn't exactly a piece of cake with all the intersections blocked by unfinished plowing, had to plow my way through to get to the Champlain Boulevard and across the bridge on Stephens.
Got stuck in a parking spot on St-Jacques (backing up in there is the dumbest thing I've done this winter so far) and had to shovel my way out then find another spot. Then MTL-Québec on the 40 was fun but I find other drivers are more dangerous then the actual weather.
On the highway, if the left lane is full of snow, either stay where you are or step on the fucking gas. People just pull out of their lane scared shitless then take a half hour to overtake anything and pull back in the right lane at the worst possible spot, having to slow down right in front of the car they passed seconds ago just to keep the car in control.
I believe Quebec's worst drivers are roaming on the highways around Trois-Rivières.
