I am considering putting my M3 6MT for sale once it comes out of the storage in April. This is an incredible car and probably one of the cleanest examples in North America, with 74k kms on it.
The car was a weekend driver for more than 10 years, and owned by obsessive types who would avoid driving in the rain. No winters of course. The first owner was a wealthy lady who owned multiple cars, followed by a master mechanic who owns and races another M3, and this was his third vehicle. Maintenance was meticulous and I have a pile of records which cover most of it since 2001. The car was maintained at a dealer for the first 8 years, then the second owner, and since then at TC Automotive. Yes, the rod bearing recall was done proactively in the early 2000s.
The second owner is a BMW maniac who lightly modified the car with some intentions of tracking it, but never got around it. It was never tracked and to be honest never really driven hard either. If you know George Mutafis at TC, he can tell you about how clean and babied this thing is.
There are no issues whatsoever. No codes, leaks, clunks, vibrations, nothing. It drives, feels, and smells like a new car. TC did a thorough check recently, everything is tight. Tires are almost new, all fluids are fresh, it needs absolutely nothing. There are only two small blemishes on the car – a small dent just under the passenger mirror, and a slight wear on the outside of the driver’s seat.
The car has following goodies on it:
• ST coilover suspension
• CSL brakes all around
• Stainless brake and clutch lines
• Wheel spacers and longer studs
• Bimmerworld silicon intake elbow
• Bimmerworld pulleys
• No resonator center section
The ride is very smooth even on our messed up roads. The car is quiet in normal driving but turns into a shrieking monster when you nail it. It is very fast and handles like a dream. It will definitely give you a boner and make your woman jealous.
I am asking $23,000 and am also open to trades plus cash on your side.
The main reason I am considering selling is that I bought this car to track it and ended up having no time to do it. I have no heart to bang it around these potholes as a daily driver and no intention to continue having three vehicles just to keep the miles low on the M3. I might be getting old I know.
As for the trades, I need something in mint shape that will serve as a four season, year-round vehicle. I am particularly fond of Golf R32, but would consider any offers with stock or very lightly modified Subaru, Golf, Audi, BMW, with preference for all wheel drive. Let me know what you have and we can discuss.
I will entertain all reasonable offers, but do not bother lowballing me as I do not need the money and I am not in a hurry to sell. If you are looking for this model, you will be hard pressed to find a better car.
Thank you for your time,
Vlad
