kijiji find of the day - Celica 2001 18 805 km

i had this car. Fcking slow, looks fast but its slow. Decent fuel economy. Common problem on these are : engine failure. Heavy for the small engine. Tranny was OK but after a while, you realise you have same engine as a corolla (I have no idea why people even puts money into this car, with big spoiler and body kit ....) and you wish you had a GTS ... this seller absolutely invested in the wrong car. GT = Base model + Automatic. How worst is that lol.

And when you have a GTS ,you either want to sell it or want to go turbo or supercharged but then you realise the 2zz sucks so bad you can't do much with it unlike a honda engine or a nissan engine.

Like why would you want a celila anyways ??? 22k ? even 10k its a lot ! Its not a GTS or anything. A FRS is around that price LOL and you dont have to pay cash one shot 22k !!!
 
Il y avait quelqu'un sur le club civic quebec qui avait acheté une Prelude 1998 avec 4,500 km au compteur pour un affaire comme 8,000$... en partant, un char beaucoup plus rare, plus nerveux et plus sportif qu'unn vulgaire Celica sans un prix de sans dessein. Lui aussi avait les pneus originaux (y'avait la date dessus) Carotman peut affirmer

Wasn't that car low- mid 20k when new? A WRX at the time was mid-high 20s... Where is he getting more than 33k from? In 2001 a 325i was about 33-34k in Canada..

A 2001 Celica GT (Automatic) MSRP'd for roughly 18k, and a Celica GT-S (Manual) was about 22k.


That said, his posted price is essentially what the car cost brand new (factoring in inflation, 18k in 2001 is about 23k CAD right now)

No, in 2001 MSRP was between 25,235 - 33,120 $ brand new. They were overpriced pseudo sport cars but still it's fucking ridiculous.
 
i know the woman who sell's it, this car never seen winter/rain , it is brand new, she's like 60 years old, still overpriced

Il avait un thread la dessus, j'imagine que c'est le même prélude. De mémoire elle était 17 000$ au début. Évidemment MR se sont mis sur son cas.
 
Première chose à faire c'est de changer les pneus...ils sont rendu quasiment dangereux.
Le caoutchouc des pneus a perdu beaucoup de ses propriété après 10 ans... alors imaginé lorsqu'ils ont plus de 12 ans... ouch!

Par contre c'est sur que le reste c'est comme neuf et c'est une bonne voiture. N’empêche que pour 22000$ ... je prendrais autre chose.
18 000 km... c'est plus que ma Saab 2011 ...

My buddy bought a 02 wrx in 02 and it was over 40k with all said and done
 
Wait. En partant ce n'est pas trop beau, second automatique, troisiemement pas sportif, quatriemement la TanK a gaz est plein sa vaut la peine. Cinquiemement 22500?!?!?!?? What.

Je Prenderais la corrado poster lautre jour 100x avant.


Si au moin on parlerais dune vieile Celica 4wd turbo top clean avec 18 000kilo au compteur.

Drette ça que je me disais, je trouve sa bizzare qu'elle le vend...au nombre de fois où elle me parlait de sa Celica!
