r u guys in for sturgeon?...i know a few places ..last year i caught a 37 lbs..on riviere de prairies..
If it doesn't rain tomorrow, I might try my luck...
Care to share your spot?
I met a guy last year that talked about that fish...He told me to go fishing there when the first dandelion come out...Also guys, the last week of May, first week of June.. there is a fish from the Ocean which comes up to the RDP river all the way to the PieX dam to lay eggs, than rush back. The fish is called American Shad or Alose in french... Plenty of good action to come!

Hey Rebel! I've fished not too far from the spot you said.. but more near 46' avenue.. Caught 4-5 (15-20 pound) channel cats and a few large mouths which were fun to catch.
I did hook a Sturgeon which ended up snapping my 20 pound proline![]()
If you don't mind.. what did you use as bait for the Sturgeon? Worm harness?
I think i'll hit the water next weekend.. hopefully a lot of the ice will be melted. Last week of April/first two weeks of May will be phenomenal for Walleye!

i went to my usual spot, this guy came to tell me nicely that i can;t fish there at this time of the year... i went further away and 2 "proctection de la faune" came to check my permit. they were nice and explained to me what was open and what was closed.
needless to day, i fucked off even if they didn't kick me out
