The owner contacted me to give it a refresh. He admitted that it was his first detail and first wax but he thought this car deserved better care which I totally agree haha! You will see the white came out quite well!

Comme vous pouvez voir sur les photos, l’auto avait grand besoins d’une décontamination:
As you can see this car was in great need of decontamination.
All these orange spot are in fact little surface rust that needs to go away NOW! Haha
So much contaminant for a 2011 car!
Trim are taped and we are taking measure of the paint to make sure we have enough thickness to perform our polish:
Finalement, l’analyse de l’épaisseur de la peinture à révélé que le devant avait été repeinturé :
As you can conclude by your own, the front end has been repainted hence why there’s a very slight difference in white between the two:
I haven’t taken any 50/50 pictures of the polish because I simply forgot to do so! Sorry guys. I guess I was too excited to see the end result and too frustrated at how sticky the new Subaru paint and how awful is to polish one!
Je m’excuse, j’ai oublié les photos moitié-moitié, j’imagine j’étais trop préoccupé par la difficulté que j’avais à polir cette peinture. Je comprend pas comment les polisseurs à l’interne chez Subaru n’ont pas forcé les ingénieurs à changer de méthode de peinture..
Wax of the day :
Look at the gloss the wax provide to the paintwork, Number one is clearly a high-gloss wax:
Raceglaze Wheel sealant is also an amazing product:
This pictures show how much crap was stuck under all trims using a high pressure air blower. This tool is a BIG MUST when you’re detailing to a next level!
Our new garage is awesome, look at the space and how clean it is, lighting is also top notch.
