LF e46 m3 oem air intake

lol got an update from my insurance... they called me back and said they changed their mind and that I can keep my CAI

man, never heard of insurance being so picky about an intake. What kind of intake do you have under there?

Fyi I'm with the same insurance company and have no issues for all of my cars , including the twins!
As long as the mods are declared , no problem.

As for your S54 , you shouldn't have to mod the engine.Reasonable air intake ok.
The stock engines do well.
