Mazzanti Automobili has revealed its Evantra V8 production model at the 2013 Top Marques Monaco show.
The Italian automaker plans on building just five units a year, all hand-made in Italy. A two-seater coupe, the Evantra V8 can be ordered in either carbon fiber composite materials or with a hand-crafted, aluminum body personalized by the client. Powering the Evantra is a 7.0-liter V8 Corvette engine with 701 hp and 625 lb-ft of torque sourced from Chevrolet.

Hey the De tomaso pantera was italian and had american engine and was a relative sucess.. Lets face it the Ls engines are legendary.

This concept was best left in the 60s-70s with the Iso, Bizzarrini, De Tomaso et al.

i disagree , the plethore might not be high end as far as fit and finish or engine but the overall body work looks pretty good IMO , better than this car anyways

Exactly it's all about cost there's nothing wrong with AMG or BMW M V8's or other great engines except that they cost way more than a Chevy, but if I'm buying a so called supercar and it costs a fortune I dont want costs cut and compromises
