MR Help me!

I would give the first guy a few days and then sell it to the second guy. If it's for your s2k both of them can wait, there isn't another one like it.
 
If a guy doesn't leave a deposit and the car gets sold afterwards, he can't say shit.
It's his fault.

Now if u think u can get more with the other guy , go for it.

It's not like its a friend man. Who gives a fuck about some strangers?? Take the offer that nets more in ur pocket.


Also , if it was u buying the s2k off someone else and he could get 2k more from someone else, do u really think he'd say no to the guy so he can be faithful to u and make less money??

I'd go with dude #2 to be honest. First guy didn't give you a deposit at all so whatever, his loss. I'm sure he could have given you $100 at least.
 
call the first guy, tell him what the second guy is offering. because he was first, you are being fair by offering to let him match or beat the offer.

otherwise, more money > less money.

I'd at least be courteous enough to call the first guy and give him a chance, you never know.
 
if the second guy shows up with deposit before the first guy sell for 2k more.if the first guy shows up first tell him you just got an offer for
2k more.see if he will pay.even if both fall through,relist the car for 2k more later on.

Turned out the car was too expensive for the second guy, even without the added 2k (wtf i know).

Time was lost, lesson was learn.

Moi quand je laisse un dépot sur quelque chose je fais des papiers qui fait comme une "promesse d'achat" et le vendeur fait une "promesse de vente" envers moi.. Je veux pas aller dans le juridique, mais sa pourrait etre le cas.
 
Rule of thumb when selling cars: money talks.

Unless its for a friend, the first guy to bring me a deposit gets the car. The only exception I would make would be if someone is driving from out of town to come see the car. Obviously I'll won't tell someone to drive 2 hours and sell the car while he's on his way, ill give him the chance to make an offer first.

Ill always be honest with everyone and let them know if someone else is interested but bottom line is cash is king.
 
Tu ne peux pas prendre deux depots de deux personnes differentes.

Ca detruit le principe du depot! Le gars qui te donne un depot s en va probablement a la banque pour chercher l argent. Il est SUR qu il a l auto lui! La tu le rappelles apres tout ca pour lui dire que le char est vendu..Ca fait pas de sens, suffit que tu pognes un gars un peu fou dans la tete..
 
Le probleme est reglé, mais j'ai tellement vendu d'affaire: ''je passe le voir'' ''je te donne des news demain'' ''je vien le chercher demain'' ''je te le prend c'est sur''... Maintenant je le considere vendu quand j'ai l'argent dans mes poches, peu importe ce que le monde dise...cris le monde niaise pour 4 tire usagé a 100$... imagine un char a 20 000....

Et des offre d'achat, c'est comme aller travaillé en RX7, il a jamais rien de sur....

I had a feeling the 2nd guy was going to flake which is why I said what I did

2nd guy (even saying he will offer more), can just try to throw you off and have you tell off the 1st guy... leaving you stranded to accept the 2nd guy's offer or wait for a 3rd guy. 1st guy would not do business with you considering you blew him off.

Not everyone has the cash right away sure, if they have a legit reason ok.. but I give everyone who's truly interested in it a fair shot, but at 2-3 weeks for 1st guy... it's quite a long wait.

Yeah well I have all my time that's the good thing...

I just keep modding the car while having it haha I have to stop...

The only reason I sell the car is because it went from a weekend toy to a daily driver for my job...

And it's too rough/loud/smelly for a daily drive haha
