Good Coilover Kit For MKVI Golf

So my girlfriend is finally thinking of modding her Golf and wants to start with the basics of wheels and lowering. Was wondering what you guys suggest as far as coilovers. Something comfortable that can lower at least a good 2.5''. Anything that won't break the bank is a plus :bigup:

break ur bank and get V1's! SS is a must in our climate.

otherwise ST's are pretty much the same thing

I have V2's and they go plenty low and ride almost like stock

X2 bilstein could be an option, but they are expensive $$$

You can't find anything better for the price. 1" to 3.5", 2 years warranty, extremely competent customer support. Goes for about $550-575 shipped + duties. The are bouncy for the first 300km, after they settle down, you're good to go.

just got my st coilovers installed today. the ride is good, pretty stiff but they don't go that low, had to remove the adjusting rings in the back to get something decent. They are still higher than my bilstein that still had the adjusting rings.
