Plane crash caught on dashcam

the pilot was climbing wayyyy to steep

Typical climb out on a loaded 744 is about 5-8 degrees max anything more you're hitting the tail. Even on 2 engines you can still climb out , level off and dump all the fuel. From the video it you can clearly see the stall... It could have been a sudden cargo shift aft. The nose was pitched up about 50-50 degrees. Being afghanland they could have been climbing out at a higher rate which doesn't help.
The plane was in take off configuration as you can also see the flaps. That's scary they didn't even have gear up yet..
Crew had no chance.. Hopefully the FDR and CVR will shed light on this . I'm going with cargo issue or serious flight control problem.

RIP

Cg shift > you

Nothing you can do once the CG shifts.. Kinda like that alligator that escaped on a 727 somewhere in Africa and all the passengers ran forward.

I can only imagine the cockpit in those seconds. Nothing the crew could have done to save the aircraft, the stick shaker, the stall warning, terrain warning, bank angle warning probably where all sounding at once

National is one the better cargo carriers and currently do a ton of DoD ops for many countries. They bought 744s specifically for these jobs. The criteria is pretty strict to get these jobs. Evergreen lost out because they have an older fleet

This hits home for me having friends who fly cargo 747/
